The number one enemy of meditation practice.
The number one enemy of meditation practice is not a busy mind.
When we breathe consciously in any way,
We are meditating.
When we rest our attention anywhere on the body,
We are meditating.
When we fully listen to the sounds that surround us,
We are meditating.
When we observe the flow of thoughts in an agitated mind,
We are meditating.
When we fall asleep during meditation practice,
We are not meditating.
Meditation practice calls for an available,
Open,
And awakened mind.
The practice of meditation requests an alive,
Nourished,
And rested body.
Here,
The number one enemy of the meditation practice.
To rest,
To sleep,
To respect,
To nourish the body.
Thank you.
A big hug in your heart.
See you in the next Daily Pneuma.
