Good morning,
Welcome to this special meditation designed to help you start your morning off on the right note.
My name is Juana and I am excited to kick off the day with you.
Let's take this time to really get quiet before we go out and interact with the rest of the world.
So find yourself a comfortable space with your back straight and begin to tune into your breath.
Allow yourself to bask in the moments between breaths,
The space between your inhale and exhale.
I know your mind will try and jump ahead into your to-do list,
But just focus it back into the here and now with your conscious inhales and exhales.
There's nowhere to be right now.
There's nothing to do right now,
But just sit here and breathe.
Relax your attention and start engaging your mind in a way that serves and uplifts you.
Think about three or more things that you are grateful for this morning.
Remember that blessings come in all shapes and sizes.
If you don't have anything big to be thankful for,
Then look to the things that many take for granted,
Like the rising of the sun and the free flowing of water,
Both of which keep you alive.
Really bask in this feeling of warmth and this feeling of gratitude and allow yourself to receive more thoughts of thanks.
Now,
Visualize yourself having the perfect day.
Whatever that means to you.
Think about how you want to feel throughout your day and create this feeling within you now.
How you feel,
After all,
Is ultimately going to attract how your day unfolds.
Affirm after me,
I am so thankful for this brand new day.
I am excited for what today will bring.
I am open to fun and surprises.
I embrace anything that comes my way.
I move with ease and flow.
I love living in the now.
Today will be a wonderful day.
And on that good note,
Bring this positive energy with you into your day as you slowly bring more conscious awareness into your body.
Feel your ground connection.
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes and give yourself a nice big open stretch,
Welcoming the day with open arms.
