Hello and welcome to this guided meditation on trust.
My name is Juana and I'm honored to lead you through this journey into believing.
As always,
Get yourself into a comfortable position,
Seated or laying down,
That allows for a straight spine and deep,
Easy breathing.
Close your eyes and tune inwards.
Take a moment to check in on your breath.
How is it doing?
Your breath is a miraculous thing,
Huh?
Working on your behalf,
Even when you aren't paying any conscious attention to it.
Your breath is always there for you,
Even when you aren't.
So allow your breath to replenish you right now.
As you breathe in through your nose,
Expand your lungs and diaphragm fully.
Feel the air make its way to your very core.
As you breathe out,
Feel your lungs and diaphragm contract back down as the air leaves your body.
Pay attention to this beautiful continuous cycle of inhales and exhales,
Which serve to keep you alive.
With every inhale,
Say silently to yourself,
In.
With every exhale,
Say out,
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
Continue on your own.
Your body knows how to breathe properly.
Trust it and allow with this time and space to do so.
As you continue to stay connected to your breath,
Ask yourself,
What do you trust?
And who do you trust?
Do you trust your breath will keep coming in and out without you worrying about it?
Do you trust your body to continue pumping blood and keeping you alive as you sleep?
Do you trust the sun to come up each and every morning?
We don't really force any of those things to happen.
Instead,
We allow them to happen.
Some are quite literally out of our control.
Yes,
There are some people,
Situation and things which can be hard to put your faith in,
But instead of focusing on what you can't trust,
Focus on what you can.
So ask yourself again,
What do I have complete faith in?
And allow yourself to receive the answers.
Do you trust in yourself?
Do you trust in others?
Well if you have faith in all of this,
Can you maybe also have faith that life is working out for you?
That you are where you are meant to be in this moment in time?
That nothing has gone wrong?
That everything has gone right?
That you don't need to push against what is here,
But instead you can flow with it?
Can you trust that the universe has your back?
That just like your breath,
It supports you in so many ways?
Sometimes,
Without you even consciously knowing?
That just like the functioning of your body,
There are some forces at work that you don't even see,
Which are working on your behalf behind the scenes.
Just like your body working in your favor,
These forces are working to help you thrive,
Working to help you accomplish your goals and dreams.
So can you just relax and trust in this power that has created you?
Take this time to fully breathe that trust in.
Confirm silently after me.
I trust.
I trust the universe has my back.
I trust in the flow of life.
I trust in the power that creates worlds.
I trust everything is working out for me.
I trust in perfect timing.
I trust myself.
And so it is.
As we begin to connect with our outer world again,
Carry this unwavering certainty back with you.
Start feeling where your body makes contact with the ground.
Bring slow movements back into your body.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
And slowly open your eyes.
