Settle into where you're seated.
If you need to wiggle a little bit to get that last 10 or 15% of extra comfort,
Go ahead.
Just bring your body at ease with each exhale sinking a little bit deeper into where you're seated,
Sinking a little bit deeper into relaxation.
Inhale a fresh breath,
Exhale,
Relax.
Inhale,
Refresh,
Exhale,
Relax.
Now I welcome you to bring your attention to the palm of your right hand.
Imagine a pool of energy.
See if you can feel the energy beneath your skin,
The energy pulsing throughout your body,
Just at the palm of your right hand.
As your awareness is on that energy,
Feel it move from the palm up through your thumb to the tip of your thumb.
Feel it radiate up through your pointer finger,
Your middle finger,
Your ring finger,
And your pinky.
Feel that energy pulsing now through your entire hand and bring your focus to the back of your hand as well.
Your entire hand alive with energy,
Your awareness focused on that energy in your right hand.
Now imagine that energy pooling again in your palm and now moving up to your wrist.
Keep your focus on that energy at your wrist.
Now focus that energy moving from your wrist through your forearm to your elbow and pooling at your elbow.
Focus on that energy now from your elbow all the way to the tips of your fingers,
Sort of oscillating back and forth.
Now imagine that energy rising from your elbow up through your upper arm to your shoulder,
Imagining it pooling in your shoulder joint.
If there's any stiffness there,
Imagine that warm energy caressing your shoulder,
That joint right in the spots where you need it.
That healing energy bathing your shoulder joint,
Bathing the muscles around it,
The tendons,
All in that healing energy.
Now imagine that energy pooling in that shoulder joint and moving across your right collarbone down to your sternum and feel that energy pooling at your sternum,
Right there at your chest.
That energy at your sternum,
That spot that's absolutely protecting your heart inside.
Bring your focus now.
In addition to the energy at your sternum,
Bring it to your beating heart beneath your sternum.
Next,
Exhale,
Really bring your focus to your beating heart.
Exhale and then exhale your focus to your heart.
Now bring your focus back to that energy at your sternum.
Feel the energy rising up then to your left collarbone,
Across your left collarbone,
To your left shoulder.
Feel your left shoulder bathed in that energy,
The joint,
The socket joint itself,
The muscles around the shoulder,
Your upper arm,
Your deltoid,
The trapezius muscle that goes up and connects to your neck,
That whole muscle system just bathed in relaxation and energy.
Give yourself a nice energy massage in this important joint.
Now focus that energy again at the joint and bring that energy down your upper arm to your elbow.
Now feel that whole circuit of energy from your left elbow up to your shoulder,
Across your collarbone,
Your sternum,
Your other collarbone,
Your right shoulder down to your right elbow,
To your right wrist and your right hands.
Feel that circuit back and forth from your left elbow across your body to your right fingertips.
Feel it oscillate back and forth.
Have fun with it.
The playful Leela,
The dance,
The dance of life,
The energy within your body.
Now focus your awareness on your left elbow and feel that energy move down your forearm to your left wrist.
And again,
Feel that play of energy from your left wrist up your left arm and shoulder across your collarbone,
Your sternum,
Your other collarbone to your right shoulder down to your right elbow to your right wrist and your right fingertips.
Feel it move back and forth.
Have fun with it.
Change that playful energy.
Now bring your awareness to your left wrist with the energy there and move that energy to your left arm and let it pool.
Focus that energy on your left palm.
Feel it pulsing,
Oscillating in your left palm.
Now bring that energy from your palm through your thumb to the tip of your thumb.
Bring the energy to the base of your index finger and all the way out to the edge.
Bring that energy from your palm to the base of your middle finger up through the joints to the tip of your middle finger.
Feel that energy pulsing in your palm and feel it move up from the base of your ring finger past the knuckles up to the tip and feel that energy in your palm extending up to the base of your pinky up through the knuckles to the tip.
Now bring your awareness to the back of your left hand and feel your entire hand now.
Your fingers,
Your thumb,
Your palm,
The back of your hand.
Feel it alive with that energy.
Now I welcome you to bring your hands together in sort of a prayer position and place then your thumbs on your sternum and feel the energy moving back and forth between your left palm and your right palm,
Between your fingers that are now touching and between your thumbs and your sternum.
Again,
Be aware of your beating heart behind your sternum.
Now I welcome you to move your fingers up your index fingers to that spot between your eyebrows,
Your mind's eye,
Seat of your consciousness,
Your higher self.
Touch that spot.
Feel the energy at that spot.
See if there's any intention for the day that might come from your higher self.
Could be a word,
A phrase,
Maybe even just a feeling.
Let that be your guide for the day,
Your intention.
Now I welcome you to bring your hands,
Your thumb back to your sternum and lower your chin a bit down towards your hands,
Your focus to your eyelids.
And when you are ready,
You can slowly open your eyes and bring your awareness back to the room around you.
