Morning I'm Katya or Positively Chronic Travels and we're going to welcome this new day with a visualization meditation to help set you up beautifully for the day ahead.
If you're still in bed you can remain lying down otherwise find a place sitting somewhere comfortably.
Feel free to cover yourself in blankets and ensure you're super nice and cozy.
I invite you to close your eyes or softly lower your gaze as you bring your awareness to the air flowing into your lungs and being released back out.
Do you think that you might be able to slow down your breaths just a little more?
Follow the trail of air as it enters and exits your lungs.
Feel how the stream of air changes temperature as you inhale and then exhale.
Take a few more deep breaths here to cleanse any stagnant energy from the night.
I welcome you now to visualize a bright powerful pure white column of light surging right through the top of your head and flowing down through your body and immersing every cell it touches with this nourishing and healing energy.
This light is invigorating,
Rejuvenating and energizing as it charges your cells with power.
Focus on the light continuing to illuminate all the parts of your body.
You may notice the light around your head,
Neck,
Shoulders,
Arms and hands circling around your chest,
Down through your tummy,
Your pelvis,
Over your hips and then down your thighs,
Over your knees,
Calves,
Ankles,
Feet and right to the tips of your toes.
The light is sparkling over every single cell in your body cleansing them and filling them with nourishment whilst releasing any unwanted energies and toxins.
You may like to imagine any unwanted energies as they dissolve into dust and then evaporate outside of your body.
If it resonates with you,
You may even like to exhale deeply and loudly as they release.
The light now expands into an orb of light surrounding you.
It's protecting your energies and deflecting anything unwanted like an energetic shield.
Anything aversive that you encounter today will bounce off this bubble.
It will remain here throughout the day for everything you encounter.
We're now going to repeat some affirmations to set you up for the day ahead.
In your mind or out loud feel free to repeat the following.
I am protected from anything unwanted.
I am loved and I love myself.
I am mindful of the present moment.
I am grateful for all that my body does for me.
I am going to listen to my body today.
I am going to savour each moment that this day brings.
I am going to listen to those around me.
I'm going to do things that nourish my mind and body today.
I'm going to focus on what makes me feel good today.
I am going to be kind to myself and to others.
I welcome you to focus back on your breath again as you start to take a few more slow long deep breaths.
Can you visualize the environment that you're in?
What does the surface feel like against your skin?
Where are the points of contact?
What sounds are there around you?
What does the air smell like?
How do you feel?
Begin to slowly wriggle any body parts.
You may want to stretch out.
Whenever you're ready,
If you haven't already,
Feel free to open your eyes remembering that you are energized,
Protected and ready for this new day ahead.
