Welcome to this Tibetan Singing Bowl meditation.
I'm Catherine Wakefield,
The founder of Tibetan Singing Bowls with Catherine,
And I'll be guiding you through this meditation.
Before we start though,
It's important to understand that this meditation is best done with your eyes closed,
Laying down in a comfortable position,
Ideally with your headphones for full effect.
It's not a good idea to listen to this whilst driving or operating machinery.
It's time now for you to find yourself in a nice,
Comfortable position,
Somewhere you won't be disturbed,
And go ahead and close your eyes.
Let's begin by taking three deep cleansing breaths.
We do those by breathing in through the nose,
Holding for a couple of seconds,
And then sighing out with a deep breath.
In through the nose,
And hold two,
Three,
And again,
Breathe in through the nose,
Breathe in through the nose,
Hold,
And breathe in through the nose for the final time,
And then just watch your breath return to its normal pace.
Pay attention to where in your body moves with the breath and where doesn't,
And then bring all of your attention to the soles of your feet,
Your toes,
Heels,
And give them full permission to completely relax,
And then bring all of your attention to the top of your body,
And then bring all of your attention to the top of your feet,
Ankles,
And give those full permission to completely relax.
Bring all of your attention to your ankles,
Shins,
Calves,
Knees,
Front and back of the knees,
Thighs,
Whole of your legs and feet,
And give all of it completely permission to relax,
Soften,
And melt,
And then bring all of your awareness to your hips,
Your torso,
All the way up your spine,
Chest,
Shoulders,
All the way down your arms,
Elbows,
Wrists,
Back of the hands,
Fingers,
Thumbs,
Palms of your hands,
And give all of it permission to relax,
Soften,
And melt,
And then bring your awareness to your neck,
Head,
Eyes,
Behind your eyes,
Nose,
Lips,
Chin,
Jaw,
Forehead,
And give all of those places full permission to completely relax,
Soften,
Melt,
And allow the sound of my voice,
The sound of the bowls,
Any sounds inside or outside the room,
To just allow you to relax even more.
So you you you you you you you you you you you you you you
