As you begin your meditation practice,
Find a comfortable position,
Whether that's seated or reclining down.
Wherever you are,
Begin to close your eyes down,
Inviting your body to relax,
To let go,
And notice with your eyes closed if you're able to release any tension just behind the eyes.
Begin to connect with the natural rhythm of your breath,
That subtle energy exchange from inhalation to exhalation.
And if it's possible,
Encouraging your breath to slow down,
Asking yourself if you can let go of any tension,
Whether physically or mentally,
As you breathe out.
We'll take a full body breath in through the nose,
Holding at the top of the breath,
Release it out your mouth,
Let it go.
I want you to bring your awareness outside of your body.
Imagine as if you're a third party,
Hovering above yourself,
Looking down.
In this vision,
What do you see?
As you reflect upon yourself,
Notice the words that you use.
Are they positive?
Are they loving?
Or are they harsh and judgmental?
Whatever they may be,
Let them go.
Exhaling breath in,
Full body breath in,
Exhale out the mouth.
Bringing your awareness outside the body once again,
In this third party perspective as you look down,
This time seeing yourself as the ideal version of who you are.
Who do you want to be?
What does this person look like?
How does it feel to be this person?
Are they radiating positivity?
Lighting up the room?
Whatever qualities they possess,
Recognize that this is your truth,
You are that person.
Honor the fact that this is you.
Remembering any qualities that you admire in another person is the direct mirror reflection of your truth.
Coming back to this energy,
To this vibration,
Whenever you need a reminder,
This is your truth.
