Welcome to today's three minute mantra meditation.
As always find a space where you can sit or lie down undisturbed for three minutes.
A place where you can find comfort and not be disturbed.
Maybe you're letting your tea steep where you're just finding this quiet moment for yourself.
Using this time to calm the mind,
Center the thoughts,
And come into a place of awareness of yourself.
Beginning with just your breath.
Removing the ideas of the future illusions and the memories of the past and just coming into this place where only compassion can reside.
The present moment.
Breathing in through your nose.
Letting your shoulders roll back and releasing your breath.
Breathing in,
Feeling the breath pass by your throat,
Pass by your heart,
And reside in your belly just for a moment and now releasing consciously.
Breathing in,
Feeling your heart expand your ribs expand your belly soften and releasing feeling the pleasure of the breath as it nourishes the body and then passes by.
Continue to be conscious of your breath.
It doesn't need to be hard or rigid.
Just simply conscious of it.
Today's mantra.
Sukkah,
Somasta,
Sukkino,
Bhavantu.
These words in Sanskrit mean may all beings everywhere be happy and free.
And may the thoughts,
Words,
And actions of my own life in some way contribute to that happiness and to that freedom for all.
Breathing in and releasing.
Maybe you begin to visualize the words as I say them as passing clouds.
Not finishing the story but simply becoming aware of the mantra.
Loka Somasta,
Sukkino,
Bhavantu.
Loka Somasta,
Sukkino,
Bhavantu.
Loka Somasta,

Taking a giant breath in and letting your lungs expand,
Your heart is raising.
Release your breath.
Maybe fluttering your eyes open or just bringing your hands to your heart,
Feeling the swelling of compassion within you.
Use this mantra as momentum for your day to bring peace to you and to those around you,
Sending you love,
Peace,
And freedom.
Namaste.
