Om Nirma Shivaya,

Please get ready now for the practice of Shavasan.

Settle your body down comfortably.

Make sure that you are warm enough,

That you have covers and that you are comfortable.

Have your arms a little out to the sides,

Your feet gently apart,

Your nose in line with the tip of your spine and the two sides of your body as symmetrical as they can be.

Now take your attention to the tip of your nose,

That place where the breath enters into your body cool and leaves your body warm.

Intense focus now on the breath,

Its natural rhythm,

Its gentle movement.

Following the cool inhalation as it moves up the body and the warm letting go of the exhalation as it moves down the body.

Please continue with this practice of awareness of breath for a short while.

Smooth inhalation up the body,

Warm gentle exhalation down the body.

Begin to allow the soft sighing sound of the natural breath to move to the base of the throat,

The gentle Ujjayi sound at the base of the throat.

Now we are going to chant the sound of Om as you continue with that breath.

We simply allow that sound to ride along the rhythm of the natural breath.

Om belongs to no religion,

It is the sound of the universe expanding and contracting in its rhythm.

It's a way of us all connecting,

Synchronizing our sound with all that is.

So taking a smooth inhalation now,

Allowing your body to expand.

Om.

Om.

Om.

Just feeling the vibration of the sound of Om.

Now we'll chant the mantra for the Divine Mother.

You can visualize her in any form that is meaningful to you.

This can be Mother Mary,

Fatima,

Amma,

Mother Nature,

Or even your own mother.

As we chant the mantra,

Visualize Divine Love washing over you,

Connecting you to all that is.

Om,

Tiyayam uttava lava kunta navatim Deja om aim na ishti kihim Snikta panga vilokkhi nihim Bhagavadim Mantasmita Shrimukhihim Vatsalyam tavasanim sumaduram Sanketanalapiniim Shamangi marusektasubtim Amritanandatmika misvarim Om Amritaswari namah Om Amritaswari namah Om Amritaswari namah Taking your attention now to your body,

Lying here in this place,

Its weight,

Its shape,

Its outline.

Your body lying here in this place.

Allow it to become heavy now.

Heavy body,

Heavy bones,

Heavy body letting go here in this place.

Now,

Taking your attention to the space at the center of your chest,

The place of your sternum,

The place of Anahata chakra,

The place of unconditional love.

Try to imagine in that place a warm pink rose colored light,

Luminous rose pink light.

It begins as a small sphere of light just behind the sternum,

Just behind the breastbone.

See that light intense,

Bright,

Pulsating and luminous.

The color of fresh opening roses in the morning light.

With each breath,

This light becomes a little wider,

A little brighter and more luminous.

Just breathing the rose pink light.

See it.

You may even be able to smell its perfume,

Rose pink light.

So bright is this light now that it begins to spread into your chest,

Into your lungs,

Rose colored pink light filling each and every space in the lungs.

See it as it moves into the rib cage,

The whole rib cage now glowing with the rose pink light.

Feel the warmth of the light.

Feel the healing of the light.

Feel the unconditional love of the light.

This light now begins to grow so bright,

So bold that it moves into the whole of your body.

Your whole body now glowing rose colored pink light.

Each and every single cell,

The sphere of rose pink protective and healing light.

Keep breathing the light.

Keep allowing it to fill your entire being,

Rose colored light.

Now you see yourself in your favorite place in nature,

Just you in your favorite place in nature.

You are lying in this place surrounded by beautiful flowers,

Insects are buzzing in the air.

There's a gentle breeze and the smell of fresh rain.

As you look up into the sky,

You see just a few rain clouds with silver linings against an afternoon sky.

You see a few of the drops of rain upon the leaves and the flowers and the fresh air of a washed day.

You sit up in your glow of rose colored pink light and you take in all the impressions of this,

Your favorite place in nature.

Look to the right what you see and to the left what you see.

And as you sit now in this,

Your favorite place in nature,

This beautiful place freshly washed by an afternoon rain,

You see sitting there with you all those you love,

All those you love,

They are happy,

Healthy,

Protected.

You see them there.

They too have a rose colored pink light at the center of their being.

They too have the shine of unconditional love.

And now as you sit in this favorite place with those you love,

You see all those in your neighborhood,

Your city,

Your country,

Sitting there with you in the glow of unconditional love,

United,

Protected in the divine love.

Nothing but unconditional rose colored pink light.

And so we see now the whole of our planet,

Mother Nature herself pulsating and glowing with the unconditional rose colored pink light,

The light of pure love.

Take a moment to feel the interconnectedness,

To feel the love,

To feel the protection.

All thin threads of rose colored light connecting your heart space to those you love,

Those in your community and country,

To all living things,

To Mother Nature herself.

Take about seven minutes to feel theJacque Fresco.

Slowly now,

Keeping this inner light,

This warm glow,

Tell yourself,

I am love,

I am interconnected with all that is,

I am protected,

I am one with the Divine Mother herself.

Come back to this place now,

Come back to this moment,

Become aware again of your body lying here,

Its shape,

Its weight,

Its outline.

Allow the body to become light,

Allow it to become carefree.

Become aware again of your breath,

Its natural rhythm,

The gift of that breath,

The gift of a new day,

Of unlimited potential.

Slowly begin to make some small gentle movements now with the toes and the fingers.

If you like,

You can gently roll your head from side to side.

Take a nice big stretch now with the whole body,

A nice big stretch,

Release any remaining stresses and strains.

If you can,

You can bring your legs towards your belly,

Hug them there.

Let's all roll over onto our right sides.

Take a moment to see yourself from above in your cocoon of protective,

Healing,

Rose-colored pink light.

If you have a mantra or prayer or sankalpa of your own,

You can repeat it to yourself three times now.

Keeping the eyes closed,

The gaze inward,

Come up to sitting if you can.

And to finish with the sound of OM,

Once more unifying us with all that is,

The mantra for all beings to be happy,

To be healthy and protected,

And for us to be guided along our way.

Take a smooth breath in.

Loka samasta suginubhantu.

Loka samasta suginubhantu.

Om shanti,

Shanti,

Shanti.

Om asaduma sarakameya tamasuma jyotirameya bhrityoma amritamameya.

Om shanti,

Shanti,

Shanti.

And now the mantra that asks that all our gurus from all our traditions guide our way home.
