Find your comfortable seated position and gently close your eyes.
Send the gaze between your eyebrows.
Sit up tall with a straight spine.
Place your hands in your lap with the palms facing up.
Take a moment to connect with our breath.
Take a few deep breaths in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Let it flow in and out naturally without trying to control it.
Letting go of any tension in the body,
Relaxing the shoulders,
Relaxing the belly.
Notice your breath and the rise and fall of your chest.
When we take time to be still,
We allow ourselves time to reflect,
To reflect on the things that are good in our lives.
Bring one specific positive action from the past day to mind.
How does this make you feel?
Now focus on this feeling.
Let this sense of appreciation flood your body and store this feeling deep within your being.
As we start to go deep within,
Repeat this affirmation silently to yourself.
Every day I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
Every day I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
Every day I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
As you continue your practice,
Your mind may wander.
Welcome your thoughts,
Then let them go.
Bring your awareness back to your breath and the affirmation as it starts to sink deep within the core of your being.
Welcome your thoughts,
Then let them go.
Welcome your thoughts,
Then let them go.
Release the affirmation and take a moment to quiet the mind and just let go.
Be with yourself in this moment.
As you bring yourself back into the room,
Let this practice be a reminder to keep that feeling of gratitude and appreciation for all that you have.
Namaste.
