Before we begin,
Please make sure you are in a comfortable and distraction-free environment.
Make sure that you feel good wherever you're at,
And make sure to turn off those cell phone notifications.
You won't need this for where we are going.
Have a pen and piece of paper in front of you for some writing that you will do after this meditation.
And when you are ready,
We will begin.
You can start lying down or in a seated position.
Make sure that your spine is straight and that you feel nice and balanced in your body.
You can move around to feel where that balance exists.
Take a deep breath into your nose.
Hold it for a second and let go.
And as you're letting go,
Exhaling,
Close your eyes.
Close your eyes.
There's so much to reflect on,
So much complexity around us.
But when it comes down to it,
The answers are so simple.
Take another deep breath in through your nose,
Into your belly,
Expanding your belly,
And exhaling out your mouth.
And as you exhale,
Let the tension around you and within you,
Let it go.
Taking another deep breath into your belly,
Further deeper into your belly,
And exhaling out your mouth,
Relaxing 10% more.
Exhaling even deeper.
And this time as you exhale,
I want you to let it all go.
The complexity is fading away.
The simplicity of who you are,
Of this present moment,
Is here now.
As you watch your breath return to a normal pace,
Inhaling through your nose,
Exhaling out your nose.
Sitting here in your body,
Noticing any feelings in your body.
By this point,
You are a pro.
You know there is no right or wrong way to do this.
You are exactly where you need to be,
Right here,
Right now.
There are no wrong feelings and there are no wrong thoughts.
Bring your attention to the crown of your head.
Notice the space of two inches right above your head.
Feel what that space feels like.
This is a portal right above your head and it's filled with light.
And you get to choose how much light comes into you from this crown of your head.
See the light coming down through your forehead,
Down into your eyes,
Your nose,
Your mouth,
Your jaw,
Your ears,
Letting go even further.
The light passing down through your neck,
Down through your shoulders,
Letting your shoulders melt.
Letting the light pass through your chest and upper back,
Down through your left arm,
Down through your right arm.
Passing down beautifully down into your belly,
You're doing so good.
This beautiful light as it passes down through your body,
You're becoming more and more relaxed,
More and more radiant,
Full of light.
Filling your hips full of light down through your thighs,
The tops of your legs,
Down through your knees,
Down through your shins and calves and ankles,
Down through your feet and out through your feet to grow roots.
And these roots grow down,
Down into the earth,
Deep into the earth,
Nourishing you.
The soil of mother earth nourishing you,
Grounding you,
Helping you to feel even more rooted in this moment,
In this place.
You are radiant.
I will guide you through a series of questions.
As I ask you each question,
Feel free to ask yourself the question and then feel into the answer.
I have a body,
But I am not a body.
I have a name,
But I am not my name.
Who am I?
I sit in this place,
But I am not this place.
Who am I?
I have thoughts,
But I am not these thoughts.
I have feelings,
Big feelings,
But I am not these feelings.
Who am I?
I have a history,
But I am not this history.
I have these senses,
But I am not these senses.
I have time,
But I am not time.
I have a story,
But I am not the story.
Who am I?
You've done so good today.
Everything you sense,
Everything you feel is valid,
And hopefully you touched some truth today.
Please begin to come out of this meditation gently.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your body full of vibrant,
Beautiful energy.
Feeling the sounds in the room,
Feeling the environment where you are seated or lying down.
Feel the feeling in your hands,
Feel the feeling in your feet,
Feel the feelings in your face,
And allow a beautiful smile to grow on your face.
When you're ready,
