This meditation begins with gentle movement; mindful stretching to awaken your body and release tension, helping you to connect with your breath and find balance. As your body softens, gradually settle into stillness, allowing your mind to quiet and your spirit to center. Embrace the calm as you sit in peaceful awareness, ready to move into your day with clarity and ease.

We're just going to start with a little movement to settle us into our short meditation this morning.

So just find yourself seated in a comfortable position.

When you're ready,

Just lifting your left arm overhead and stretching your fingers high into the sky,

Feeling your whole left side body.

And gently bringing your left arm down to rest on your leg and reaching up with your right side body,

Your right arm reaches up to the sky.

And gently bringing that arm down to the side,

Taking a moment to scrunch up all your fingers into a soft fist and then releasing your hands open at your sides.

Just feeling the weight of your arms resting there at your sides,

Sensing into the aliveness of sensation present there and bringing your arms to rest in a comfortable position for the rest of the meditation.

When you're ready,

Letting your chin tuck toward your chest,

Feeling the back of your neck lengthen and then bringing your chin back up to neutral position and letting it gently guide itself to the right side shoulder,

Feeling a nice stretch in the left side neck.

Gently guiding that chin through center and all the way over to the left side and gently feeling sensation in the right side neck and bringing your chin back to center and sensing the chin just lifted there above the chest,

Settled and grounded neutral.

When you're ready,

Just closing down the eyes,

Finding a soft gaze and bringing your full attention into this body resting here in this position.

Just noticing the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each breath,

This calm and consistent rhythm of breathing.

Just noticing the inhale and the exhale.

No need to change or control the breath,

Just noticing and letting this be the anchor for the rest of the meditation,

Just this breath as it arises and dissolves all on its own.

Breath by breath,

Present moment awareness.

Settling into the silence now for the rest of the meditation,

Just noticing the breath.

Thank you so much for practicing with me,

Hope you have a magical day.
