Welcome.
Welcome to a short breath work practice with Carrie.
Today,
We'll be going over box breathing and we're going to rotate it in with our beast breath.
So,
Our humming breath.
So,
First,
Let's find a nice,
Comfortable seat in space,
Finding grace for ourselves,
Having a nice straight back,
And we're just going to start to breathe.
We're going to start to ground down.
Inhale through the nose and exhale through the nose,
Coming into space,
Coming into moment.
On our next inhale,
We're going to start our box breath.
So,
We're going to inhale for up to four counts.
This could be two counts,
Three counts,
Or four counts,
But we're going to keep our inhales,
Our retentions,
Our exhales,
And our suspensions the same number as our inhales.
So,
We're going to start to inhale to the count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four.
On our next inhale,
We're going to hum out in beast breath.
So,
You can gently cover your ears at the top of your inhale.
Then we're going to hum out on our exhale.
And then on our next inhale,
We're coming back into box breathing.
So,
To the count of two,
Three,
Or four.
I'm just going with four here.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Now box breathe.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four.
On our inhale,
We're going to inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale.
Nice big belly breath in,
And we're going to hum out.
So,
Right back into box breathing this time.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold breath in,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Nice big belly breath.
Inhale,
And hum out for beast breath.
From here,
You're going to repeat this as many times as it feels comfortable for you to repeat.
I really hope you enjoyed this breath practice.
I know I really enjoyed teaching it.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Much love.
