Spring cleaning.
Today I have a busy mind.
It's going faster than the clouds moving across the sky.
Faster than the busy bees and the seeds trying to crack their shell and grow as spring approaches.
Faster than a conversation between two good friends.
Faster than the traffic outside.
So I find a notepad on my phone or pick up a piece of paper and pen to write down my thoughts in point form.
Most of them might belong to the unknown future.
I might fill up the entire page.
I might draw blank with all my thoughts shying away.
Once all my thoughts are out of my head and onto my notepad,
I am empty.
I am free.
I am here,
Alive,
With a roof above my head and a stable floor beneath my feet.
I am breathing and I'm simply living the best life I can at this moment.
This is all I can do.
This is all that is in my own hands.
The rest is just a thought,
A dream,
An illusion,
An idea,
A guess,
And I'm fine with that.
Putting all my thoughts on paper leaves my mind at ease and brings me peace.
