Hi and welcome to this meditation letting your troubles fade at the beach.

Have you ever noticed how things just feel better when you're at the beach?

So let's now find a comfortable position for the body.

It could be seated or laying down.

Let your hands rest easily by side of your body or in your lap if you're seated and if it feels safe for you gently close your eyes.

Now let's take a slow breath in through the nose and an exhale through the mouth.

Again breathing in and breathing out.

Do one more on your own.

Allow your body to soften just a little bit more with each breath.

Now if it feels okay for you continue just breathing through the nose noticing the breath.

Now imagine you're sitting on a warm peaceful beach.

The sand beneath you is soft and supported holding your body with ease.

You feel steady grounded and safe.

Hear the gentle rhythm of the ocean waves.

They roll in slowly and roll back out again.

Each wave moves with perfect timing without effort.

Notice the warmth of the Sun on your skin.

It's not too hot is it's just enough to relax you deeply.

A light breeze moves across your face calm and refreshing.

As you continue to breathe gently bring your awareness to any troubles worries or heavy thoughts you've been carrying.

You don't need to analyze them just notice them like small stones you've been holding.

With your next exhale imagine placing one of those stones into the ocean.

Watch as the wave gently carries it away.

It disappears beneath the water no longer yours to hold.

Breathing in calm,

Breathing out release.

Again breathing in calm and breathing out release.

One by one let each worry drift into the sea.

The wave knows exactly how to take them.

You don't need to force anything just allow.

As the ocean clears your troubles feel the space that they have left behind.

That space now feels naturally with peace with lightness and with ease.

Now notice how your body feels.

Your shoulders soften.

Your jaw unclenches.

Your breath becomes slow and natural.

You are here.

Nothing is required of you and nothing needs fixing in this moment.

Sit for a few breaths simply listening to the waves.

Each wave reminds you you can let go again and again.

When you're ready gently bring awareness back to your breath.

Feel the support beneath you.

The earth that is holding you.

Now you might notice as your eyes open gently if they've been closed the room around you.

Take one final deep breath in and a slow exhale.

When it feels right gently move the fingers a little,

Toes a little and then just set an intention to carry this calm with you knowing you can always return to the beach in your mind whenever you need.
