Hi,
This is a meditation for self love.
Take a moment to get comfortable and gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth,
Letting go,
Releasing.
And arriving here at this meditation,
Giving yourself permission to just let go.
Start to notice your breath,
Noticing the rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and with each exhale.
Begin to feel your shoulders melting down,
The muscles in your face softening,
Your arms and legs relaxing,
Your heart opening as your chest continues to rise and fall with each breath.
And maybe start to notice how many counts you take on an inhale and how many counts you take on an exhale.
And maybe see if you can extend that number by one on the next inhale and the next exhale.
Letting your body fill up with each inhale and let go with each exhale.
And now I'd like you to think about something you love about yourself.
Go ahead,
No one is listening.
You can be as egotistical as you want,
But really focus on something that makes you happy about you.
Something that fills you up,
Something that brings you joy.
We spend so much of our time focusing on what's wrong,
On the negative,
Being critical.
Let's take this time to focus on what we are doing right.
What we love about ourselves when we look in the mirror.
What we love about ourselves when we are out in the world speaking with other people.
Maybe a smile comes to your lips as you think about this thing.
But just truly let the idea of self-love wash over you as you focus on all the good about you.
Now take a moment to return to focusing on your breath.
Noticing if maybe you can take in a little bit more air with each inhale and with each exhale.
And as you're ready,
You can begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Noticing how your body might feel a little bit different than when you first started this meditation.
And as you begin to open your eyes,
Taking with you this feeling of self-love out into your day.
Have a wonderful day.
