Welcome to your morning meditation for confidence and self-belief as we begin find a comfortable seated position whether on a chair or a cushion it's totally up to you and just allow your body to relax and become aware of your breath and when you're ready you can gently close your eyes or just soften your gaze to a few feet in front of you and we'll take a moment just to acknowledge that this is a start of a new day a fresh canvas where you have the power to paint your own story and as you're aware of your breath you don't need to do anything with your breath just breathe in calm breathe out relax your body knows how to breathe just the same as your body knows how to relax it's a matter of just giving it permission time to relax time to be calm time to be still in this moment and this is a wonderful meditation that gives us the confidence and self-belief to take through the day with us whatever we're facing today it might be work or it might be a busy day with family whatever it is we can visualize ourselves with a little confidence and more self-belief and if we do this meditation five or six days in a row maybe slightly more totally up to you and just feel it seep into every part of your life you have the confidence and self-belief within you it's just growing it and untapping it so start by bringing your attention to your natural breath feel the air as it enters and leaves your body and as we're opening our awareness of the current space and the current moment there's no need to change your breath there's no need to do anything with your body just allowing it to do what it does your body knows best and as you sit in awareness feel the weight of your body grounding you feel the connection to the earth below you with each breath sense a wave of relaxation washing down from your head to your toes you may even notice the sounds around you getting quieter now in this state of just being and very relaxed let's start building your inner confidence visualize yourself standing in front of a large mirror and in this reflection see yourself not just as you but as a confident version of you self-assured person the person you are becoming the person you need to be notice your posture notice how your eyes reflect the self-belief and there's a slight smile of contentment maybe on your face of how proud you are of yourself and as you are holding this image repeat these affirmations silently or loud loud it really doesn't matter but you've got to really believe it and what does it look like what does it feel like what does it look like from the outside and what's it feel like from within and the first one is I am capable and strong I am capable and strong I believe in my abilities and decisions I believe in my abilities and decisions I am worthy of respect and acceptance I am worthy of respect and acceptance challenges are opportunities for growth challenges are opportunities for growth I believe in myself and I am a positive force in my life and in the lives of others around me I believe in myself I am a positive force in my life and for the lives around me and if you bring your awareness back to your breath back to your relaxed body as you're breathing in calm even out relaxed just imagine breathing in confidence and as you breathe in confidence breathe out anything that's holding you back and notice how calm the outside world is that's how calm the place you're in is notice how calm your mind is and notice how much your heart and your body feels confident and feels ready for the day ahead and as we near the end of this meditation let's really anchor and nail down these affirmations and you can do it on the in-breath it really helps to really instill it within your body may I be confident may I trust in myself may I embrace the day with positivity may I be confident may I trust in myself may I embrace the day with positivity and at any point today you can return to any of those three affirmations and just before you step into the room or go to where you might feel sometimes you lack that confidence just put your hand on your heart and go may I be confident may I trust myself and let the words really be your shield and strength as you step into the day now gently bring your awareness back to the room wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes wiggle your arms and stretch out and just recognize that feeling of being ready gently open your eyes and as you carry this feeling of confidence and self-belief with you remember you are equipped with all you need to face a day thank you for listening to this meditation I'm Stephen Webb and wishing you a wonderful day take care
