Travel to 61 different points throughout your body to feel a sense of deep relaxation and peace. This is one of the most soothing, serene ways to get fully relaxed and is excellent in preparing to fall asleep.

This is Susan Ginsberg with Stop and Breathe,

The 61 Points Relaxation.

Please sit or lie down in a comfortable,

Quiet place and gently close your eyes if it's safe for you to do so.

If you're already doing so from a previous exercise,

Now is a good time to make any necessary movements or bodily adjustments to get as comfortable as you possibly can be.

Let's begin by softening your entire face.

Gently roll your shoulders down and away from your ears.

Take a few deep inhalations and exhalations.

I'm going to take you on a journey through 61 different points on your body.

You can either simply relax these points as we come to them or you can visualize a blue or a white healing light on each of them as each point is named.

Focus your attention to the point between your eyebrows,

The hollow of your throat,

Your right shoulder joint,

Your right elbow joint,

Your right wrist joint,

The tip of your right thumb,

The tip of your right index finger,

Relax the tip of your right middle finger,

Relax the tip of your right ring finger,

Relax the tip of your right pinky,

Focus on and relax your right wrist joint,

Relax your right elbow joint,

Relax your right shoulder joint,

Relax the hollow of your throat,

Relax your left shoulder joint,

Relax your left elbow joint,

Relax your left wrist joint,

Relax the tip of your left thumb,

Relax the tip of your left index finger,

Relax the tip of your left middle finger,

Relax the tip of your left ring finger,

And now relax the tip of your left pinky,

Relax your left wrist joint,

Your left elbow joint,

Relax your left shoulder joint,

And then relax the hollow of your throat,

Relax your heart center,

Relax the right side of your chest,

Relax your heart center,

Relax the left side of your chest,

Relax your heart center,

Focus on and relax your navel,

Relax the base of your spine,

Relax your right hip joint,

Relax your right knee joint,

Relax your right ankle joint,

Relax the tip of your right big toe,

Relax the tip of your second right toe,

And now relax the tip of your right third toe,

Relax the tip of your right fourth toe,

And the tip of your right little toe,

Relax your right ankle joint,

Relax your right knee joint,

Relax your right hip joint,

Relax the base of your spine,

Relax your left hip joint,

Relax your left knee joint,

And now relax your left ankle joint,

Focus on and relax the tip of your left big toe,

The tip of your left second toe,

The tip of your left third toe,

The tip of your left fourth toe,

The tip of your left little toe,

Focus on and relax your left ankle joint,

Your left knee joint,

Relax your left hip joint,

Relax the base of your spine,

Relax your navel,

Relax your heart center,

Relax the hollow of your throat,

And then relax the point between your eyebrows,

Feel a sense of deep relaxation as all of these 61 points throughout our entire body are deeply and fully relaxed.
