When we experience overwhelm, finding a sense of internal safety or calm can feel challenging. In this practice, I'll lead you through the foundational EMDR skill of resourcing to intentionally step out of survival mode and cultivate an internalized sense of compassionate care. Our brains are beautifully relational. By using our imagination to connect with a nurturing figure, real or imagined, we offer our body a profound echo of care. Grounded in the principles of Attachment-Focused EMDR, this track is designed to help you gently soften stress, lower activation, and "wire in" a tangible, nurturing shelter directly into your heart and body. Note: This track is best enjoyed with headphones for the immersive alternating sound. However, if the bilateral audio ever feels too intense, simply remove your headphones and listen through your device's speaker to ease the impact. Please note that this practice does not replace professional mental health care.
