Today,
We are going to do a heart hug meditation for if someone you love is sick.
Maybe they're in the hospital or having an operation,
Or maybe they just aren't feeling well.
Whatever it is that is happening,
This is a heart hug meditation that will help.
This heart hug meditation will help you feel better.
And the most magical part is,
It will help them feel better too.
Sometimes when someone is sick,
It's hard because we want to help but we don't know what to do.
So we end up just being filled with worry thoughts.
This heart hug meditation will give your worry thoughts something to do that will help.
Can you find a comfortable spot sitting up,
Lying down with a stuffy or a blanket,
Or whatever makes you feel comfortable and calm?
Now put your hand on your heart and feel it beating.
Take a big deep breath in,
Let it out,
And just take a minute with that beautiful heart of yours,
Your magical heart.
Wiggle your toes and send some of your big heart love all the way down to your toes.
Now wiggle your head and send some big heart love all the way up to the top of your head.
Let's find our calm energy by breathing in for three and out for four.
Ready?
Breathe in.

Two,
Three,
And breathe out.

One more time.

Now I want you to picture the person you are worried about in your head and imagine what they look like.
Imagine what it feels like to hug them.
And I want you to think of something really fun that you have done with them.
Imagine what it feels like to be around them.
And once you feel that feeling in your whole body,
Take a big deep breath in.
And as you let it out,
You are going to imagine that your heart is flying out of your body to wherever they are.
Ready?
Breathe in.
One,
Two,
Three,
And breathe out.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And watch your heart flying out of your chest and out your front door.
Watch your heart go down the street and through the sky and find that person that you are thinking about.
Now imagine that inside of your heart is a magical healing light.
And this magical healing light is your very favorite color.
So take a deep breath in.
And as you let it out,
Imagine your heart opens like a door and the light from your heart shines all over the person you love in your very favorite color.
Did you know that the light inside of your heart is magic?
So imagine this magical light shining on them and making them feel better.
Imagine it healing them.
Imagine your magical healing light going right to their heart and giving them a big heart hug.
Take another deep breath in.
One,
Two,
Three.
And as you let it out,
Your heart opens up and even more magical healing light comes out.
And it's so magical that it makes them smile.
And it makes you smile because you really love their smile.
And it makes you feel all kinds of happy.
Now stretch your arms out beside you and give them a great big hug.
Feel how it feels to hug them.
Breathe in.
One,
Two,
Three.
Breathe out and your heart shines even more magical healing light onto them.
Now while you're there,
Can you tell them what you will do when you see them next?
Will you go for a walk or maybe go out for ice cream or play a game?
What do you want to do with them when they're feeling all better?
Take a minute and tell them all of that right now.
Now can you pull out a roll of string and hand them one end?
Good.
Tell them you love them.
Take one more deep breath in.
One,
Two,
Three.
And let it out and shine your magical healing light on them one more time.
Say,
I can't wait to see you so soon.
Now holding one end of the roll of string,
Fly back through the air.
Fly down your street.
Open the door into your house.
Now put your hands on your heart and feel it beating in your chest.
Give that string a tug and know that it is reaching to them wherever they are.
And they can feel your heart hugs and they can feel your magical healing light.
Now give yourself a pat on the back because today you did something magical for someone else and you did something magical for yourself by using your worry thoughts for good.
Repeat this heart hug meditation as many times as you need to.
And remember,
There is nobody in the world with a heart just like yours.
And I'm sending you a great big heart hug right from my heart all the way to your heart.
