To begin,
Find a posture that gives you a sense of comfort yet wakefulness.
Close your eyes and notice how you feel right now in this moment.
How are you doing?
Now move your awareness to your breath and observe where you feel your breath most prominently.
This may be at the tip of your nose,
Your chest,
Or belly.
Breathing in,
You're aware you're breathing in.
And breathing out,
You're aware you're breathing out.
Your breath is much like the flow of waves coming onto the shore and then flowing back down and coming back onto the shore and back down.
Keep your awareness on the natural flow of your breathing.
You should notice a change already taking place that you're more connected to your mind and body.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes and continue on with the rest of your day.
