With each breath, you’ll take in kindness and compassion, choose a word to guide you through this season of motherhood, and return to your day feeling calmer and more supported.

Close your eyes and take three slow,

Steady breaths.

Let your jaw relax,

Your shoulders soften,

Your whole body settle.

Imagine a gentle light surrounding you,

Warm,

Soft.

Whatever colour,

Shape,

Texture that comes to mind is the right light for you.

This light holds kindness,

Compassion,

Positivity.

And as you breathe in,

Let the light fill your chest.

And as you breathe out,

Allow it to spread through your whole body.

Let's do that again.

Breathing in,

Kindness,

Compassion,

Positivity.

Breathing out,

Spreading through your whole body.

Now I'm going to share some positive affirmations.

You can listen to each one and then repeat silently to yourself afterwards.

Some of them you might resonate with,

And others you might not.

Just take what feels right for you and leave the rest.

Now silently repeat after me.

I'm allowed to take up space and meet my own needs.

I give myself the same care I give my children.

I trust myself to know what I need in this season of motherhood.

I deserve moments of ease,

Joy and peace.

I can be a loving mother and I can care for myself.

Let those words settle deep inside you.

Give yourself a moment to really bask in the truth of those words.

Now imagine a single word appearing in the light.

A magic word for this season of your life.

It could be ease,

Joy,

Calm,

Flow.

Just choose the first word that feels right and imagine it glowing brighter with each breath in.

See this word weaving into your days ahead,

Gently guiding you through.

Now take a final deep breath in,

Drawing that word deep into your heart.

And as you exhale,

Feel it anchor within you.

Now it's time to come back to the room.

Wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

Bring any movement into your body that feels right.

Rub the palms of your hands together,

Create some heat and then gently place them on your face,

Over your eyes.

And when you're ready,

Flutter your eyes open,

Slowly letting the light through your fingers and come back to the room.
