Welcome to our meditation.
My name is Teresa and I will guide you through this morning guided meditation.
Take a moment to check in with yourself.
First your body.
How do you physically feel?
Are you carrying tension anywhere?
If you feel any stress,
Take a breath so deep that you can feel your belly rise.
Holding this in for only a moment,
Release exhaling the breath comfortably.
Sink into your body,
Dropping your shoulders,
Relaxing your toe.
Gently move your toes and fingertips.
Release any residual tension you may be holding,
Using whatever movements feel right to you at this moment.
Now take another deep breath deep down to the belly.
Feel the breath in for just a moment before releasing the air as you exhale.
Check in with your spirit.
Are there any lingering thoughts?
Remember that thinking is healthy even as you enter a state of stillness.
With compassion remind these inner thoughts that they are valuable and that when you've taken the time to call the mind,
You will be back for them.
Envision these thoughts flowing away like small stars of light into the night sky.
Watch as your toes drift away into the distance until you can no longer see where they have wandered.
There is no need for concern because you will intuitively know where to find them again when the time is right.
You are now returning to the space of stillness that you've created.
Sink into this stillness,
Embracing it like a weighted blanket of comfort.
There is no need to be anything other than your soul.
As you take another deep breath,
Flow the beautiful emptiness you've created with white light.
Let this white light overflow and cleanse you in the process.
You don't seem to have control over this as it spills out from your spirit and showers you in divine protection.
Feel the love from the universe bubbling up as you realize how powerful you've become.
You have become pure awareness and become of pure love and light.
Continue to let this energy swirl around you as you become more connected with the source.
You are protected and ready to begin your day with a renewed sense of grace.
Take a moment to check in with your physical body again.
Notice how much softer and open you feel.
Gently move your body side to side,
Allow yourself to merge physical with spiritual.
Armor with divine protection,
Take one last deep breath in and release.
You can feel empowered,
Clear-headed and ready to move forward.
Lao surrounds you now.
