Namaste and welcome to another meditation with Raquel,
The skin angel in Carlsbad,
California.
Today I invite you to begin to drop all of the walls around you as you find a comfortable place either lying on the floor or lying on a bed,
Allowing your head to rest heavily on a pillow.
As you find a comfortable place here settling into your space,
I invite you to gently close your eyes,
Allowing them to rest heavily in your eye sockets,
Simply letting go of the pressures here,
To perform your Monday,
To execute,
Simply dropping expectations for yourself.
As you close reality for some time here,
Simply begin to breathe,
Noticing the gentle inhales and exhales through the nose.
Simply breathe here,
Inhales through the nose,
Exhales through the nose.
Allow yourself to let go of the tension that you feel in the back of your neck,
Let go of the bones that connect your head to your shoulders.
Drop them down here,
Breathe air into them as you exhale and simply let go.
Scanning the body here,
Letting go of the tension in the shoulders,
In the front of the ribs,
In the back body,
Dropping down here,
Letting go of the tension in the back of the calves,
In the ankle joints,
Noticing the gentle inhales and the exhales.
Begin to picture yourself gently floating on top of a large or small body of water,
A place that makes you feel safe,
A place that is surrounded by light.
And as you gently float on the surface of the water here,
It requires no effort from you as you simply begin to drift.
And maybe you hear the sounds of life in the water underneath you,
As you float here.
Above you,
You see clouds,
You see gently moving,
Buoyant and fluffy clouds simply existing in the vast sky.
And as you lie here fully enveloped in the water,
Notice a sense of peace surrounding you,
A sense of contentment with exactly where you are and who you are.
Notice the comfort that you feel being enveloped in the water here and knowing that you are safe in your personal bubble of light.
Give yourself a big hug.
Fill your mind with love for your body and all that it is able to accomplish.
Let gratitude surface.
Allow this floating and buoyant you to feel joy,
To feel weightless.
Simply exist in this quiet space that is all yours.
There are no distractions here.
Your space exists for you and for what you need.
As you go about your day today,
On this beautiful day,
Remember this feeling of floating.
Remember the clouds above you as you gently gaze up to the heavens and remember that you can always come back to this place.
Remember that you are this place.
You are pure love.
And as you go about your day today,
Simply be kind to yourself.
Alone and peaceful you go.
And as we close our meditation today,
Simply allow yourself to float gently back to the surface.
There is no rush here.
Take your time.
Remember to always come back to the light.
