A warm welcome to you.
My name is Fleur Chambers and as always it's my pleasure to be here with you.
This practice offers you the opportunity to connect with a higher expression of yourself and to receive their wisdom,
Support and unconditional love.
So as always,
Offering yourself all the time you need to get comfy.
Closing down your eyes if you like and beginning with three deep and intentional breaths.
Our breath,
Our greatest teacher,
A reminder that we are always changing,
Always transforming.
With each inhale we begin again.
With each exhale we let go.
A small birth and death with every cycle of breath.
You don't need to hold on or to take control.
Here in this moment you are safe to surrender into the perfect timing of your breath.
Opening to the experience that you are being breathed.
Held by the intelligence of your body.
And noticing how your entire body expands on the in-breath.
How your entire body contracts on the out-breath.
Allowing this breath to be a metaphor,
A gentle reminder that you are safe in your expansion and also in your contraction.
In your meditation practice and in life you are safe to take up more space to grow,
Explore and transform.
You are also safe to take up less space to seek shelter and inner refuge.
The flow of expansion and contraction as natural as life itself.
And now in your own time allowing an image of yourself in the future to emerge.
There's no right or wrong here.
Perhaps you can imagine yourself in one,
Two,
Five,
Ten or even twenty years time.
Travelling as far into the future as makes sense to you.
Trusting your own imagination and creativity here as you picture where you are.
Perhaps you can see your home,
Your garden,
Your location in the world.
Noticing if you are inside or outside,
If it's warm or cool,
Day or night.
Noticing what you're wearing,
Your posture,
Your body language,
The way you move.
Really sensing into the life you live,
This future version of you.
How do you spend your days?
What brings you joy?
What brings you satisfaction?
You walk a little closer to this future version of you.
You really notice the details on your older face.
This face that holds years past but also a certain wisdom and peace.
You can tell that there have been challenges,
Mistakes even along the way.
But you can also see that these moments have offered the gifts of resilience,
Perspective and self-compassion.
This future you wears these qualities and their history well.
This energy of gentle strength and quiet confidence radiates from your future self like the Sun.
It casts a glow over you and so you sit within this gentle glow and you share your worries and your feelings.
You communicate your fears for your future or for those you love.
You let this future version of you see you in all your vulnerability.
It feels surprisingly good.
Allowing your breath to hold you in this moment.
This moment when your future self listens.
Listens to your worries,
Your fears,
Your vulnerabilities.
The type of listening that feels like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a dark and frosty winter's morning.
And you rest here a little longer in the warm glow of your future self.
You rest in this moment when you are witnessed,
Held and accepted just as you are.
How does it feel in your body?
How does it feel in your heart to be accepted just as you are?
Your future self has a message for you.
Breathing deep into this moment of connection.
Remembering that in any moment you can connect to your higher expression.
Repeating silently in your mind.
Inside me I have everything I need.
I am already my higher expression.
If you allowed your meditation practice to be sacred,
To offer you gifts,
What gift did today's practice offer you?
Knowing that your meditation practice today has contributed to 5,
000 people in Bangladesh having access to clean drinking water.
Taking a deep breath into this feeling of connection and contribution.
Allowing this moment to land.
Reminding yourself that we meditate not only for ourselves but for the global community.
May you move through today feeling connected to your higher expression and may you have the courage and confidence to act from this place.
