My name is Fleur Chambers and I am delighted to be here with you this morning to support you in starting your day with mindful awareness,
Focus and motivation.
So let's begin now by settling into a comfortable position and closing down your eyes if you like.
Can you begin by offering yourself a gentle smile of appreciation for making meditation a priority this morning?
Breathing into this sense of smile for a moment or two,
Allowing it to soften and spread across your body.
Now drawing your awareness to your breath.
Noticing the air as it enters your nose.
Noticing the air as it leaves your mouth.
Noticing the gentle rise and fall of your chest.
Noticing the soft expanse of your belly as the air flows in and out.
Coming home to your breath this morning to its gentle rhythm and flow.
Now can you lengthen your exhale so it feels long and smooth?
And as you breathe in this way,
Can you notice a sense of relaxation washing over you?
Perhaps you can notice a softening across your eyes,
Your jaw or your shoulders.
And as you exhale,
I invite you to let go of whatever stands in the way of the unbridled potential of today.
Perhaps it's a past hurt,
A limiting belief or worry.
As you exhale,
Imagining that whatever is holding you back is leaving your mind,
Body and heart.
From within this act of letting go,
You have created a space for something new.
What would you like to invite into this space this morning?
Would you like to invite in more calm,
More patience,
More forgiveness?
Perhaps you would like to welcome more self-acceptance,
Confidence or creativity.
As you inhale,
Imagining you are breathing in the very essence of this part of you that you wish to grow.
Breathing this part of you awake,
Alive and vibrant.
With each breath,
This part of you is growing stronger.
Imagining yourself moving through your day with this quality you have just invited in.
Taking a nice deep breath into this image of today.
And when you are ready,
Opening your eyes.
