Welcome to this slow wave sleep meditation that's gonna help you slow your roll,
Tune into the waviness of your energy,
And get a super deep sleep.
So go ahead and get your surroundings conducive to a deep sleep.
Make any adjustments to your environment.
And when you're ready,
Sidle into your place of rest in a subtle and effortless way.
Just climb into your bed and let yourself fall into the support.
Gently.
Softly.
Imagine the quickness of the world already dissolving into the outside and this inside space that you've cultivated in your room is its own universe of subtle slowness that's developing,
Unwinding as we speak.
And start to breathe in an attuned rhythm to that.
Allow the breath to come to you a little bit slower,
Even 10% slower than what you're noticing.
Guiding that breath to go a little bit deeper into the body and a little bit slower.
Notice the most tense part of your body and without judgment just hold a loving awareness on that tension for a moment.
And allow it to unwind as much as it effortlessly wants to in this moment.
And once more find the next most tense place in your body at this moment.
Holding a loving accepting awareness on that tension and allowing it to unwind a little bit,
However much it does as you allow it to.
And once again allow the next breath to be even slower,
Even deeper as it washes down the body.
Allow all thoughts that arise for the rest of the session to just be treated as noise.
Don't worry about the content of what that noise is saying or try to make it go away.
Instead just let it fade into the background like a subtle white noise that you're not bothered by but instead embrace without trying to do anything about it.
Anything emotional that you're hanging on to just allow a moment of conscious acceptance and embrace.
Like there's space opening up for that to accommodate that in your awareness.
And as you release resistance towards that just allow it to start to flow out of you as much as it naturally does.
Like you're not hanging on to it but instead being willing to let it go as you head into the dreamscape with an increasingly lighter sense of openness unburdened by the worries of the material world.
Slowly and effortlessly shepherding your way into a pleasant dream world.
And beginning now to move your attention around the body.
Imagining your attention like a slow wave of energy that moves slowly,
Deliberately and blissfully from spot to spot.
Starting at the front of your neck.
Feeling the energy alive in this moment at the front of the neck.
And letting the slow wave move up into the jaw.
Feeling that buzz of energy growing as you rest at each spot.
And as it travels now up into the lips and the tongue.
Feeling your ears.
The contours of your ears.
Letting the wave flow slowly to your nose.
And the wave of breath as it enters the nostrils and flows slowly back out.
Flowing up into the eyes.
And feeling the shape of your eyebrows as the energy slowly rises through them and up into the forehead.
Slowly rippling and defying gravity as it rises into the scalp.
Feeling the top of your head.
And letting the wave wash down into the back of your head.
And the back and sides of your neck.
Feel the slow wave of energy rippling down into the shoulder blades and the upper back area.
Feel your body getting buzzier and lighter as you dedicate your full attention to that flow of the slow wave and down into your middle back.
This slow wave cresting into your lower back.
Flowing into the glutes and the hamstrings on the back of your thighs.
Let the slow wave wash down into your calf muscles resting on your bed.
And feel the heels and the slow wave washing into the soles of the feet.
Filling its way into each of the toes starting with the big toes.
Second toes.
Third toes.
Fourth toes.
And the little toes.
And like the slow wave has a life of its own,
Feel it moving into the tops of your feet.
Feel the ripples move into the shins and pulling its way into the knees and further up into the quads on the front of your thighs.
Feel the slow wave in the hips flowing through the pelvic bowl and into the lower belly.
Let energy moving into the upper belly.
Strengthening and enlivening your energy centers as it moves into the heart.
Feeling the slow wave in the chest.
Feel yourself slowing down,
Unwinding,
Attuning to this intuitive rhythm of the slow wave as it moves up and to your shoulders and down into your biceps and around to your triceps.
Finding that precision as the wave rolls into your elbows and the outside of your forearms.
And feel the subtle energy wrap around to the inside of your forearms and rippling powerfully into the wrists,
Into the palms,
Into the backs of the hands,
Into the thumbs,
The index fingers,
The middle fingers,
The ring fingers,
And the pinky fingers.
And I invite you now to feel that slow wave of energy moving with the breath down the body on the inhale.
As it moves slowly down,
Track the wave and as you exhale feel it flow slowly up the body.
Allow each breath to come to you slower and slower with almost no effort so you can feel that slow wave of energy moving slower and in more detail with each rotation of breath down and back up,
Staying in rhythm with your attention.
Allow anything that arises in space,
Whether thoughts or sound or anything else,
To dissolve into this slow wave of energy as it moves up and down the body with the breath,
Tracking it with your attention.
And allow that feeling of the slow wave to start to expand past your body like it's bigger than your body and you're feeling that generous expansion of this slow wave as it gets bigger and more expansive.
And as it does,
Notice how your body is part of this bigger slow wave of energy as if you're effortlessly riding this totally pleasant,
Safe,
Slow wave of energy like you're floating in it and it's carrying you and uplifting you as you deeply relax into it.
And if it feels safe,
Allow the sense of the separate self to melt away as you just become one with this slow wave of energy and that you feel head-to-toe and all around you as one seamless ocean,
Allowing yourself to just be that slow wave.
Relax into the bliss of that,
Feel yourself moving in harmony with its slow rhythms and flowing blissful nature.
Over and over,
Whatever arises,
Allowing it to dissolve into the slow wave,
Becoming more deeply at ease and at one with that spontaneous,
Relaxed flow of energy,
Moment to seamless moment.
Allow yourself to go deeper into the vibrating,
Alive energy of that slow wave than you ever thought possible,
Immersing into those detailed vibrations with your total absorbed attention and continuing to let go and rest in that space of deep,
Recharging,
Slow waviness,
Inviting yourself to drift off into that restful state at a pace that feels effortless and good to you.
