In this practice,
We connect with the larger energy of loving-kindness that is shared by many beings throughout the world.
The loving-kindness that is always being offered to each of us.
May you feel and know how much you are loved.
And may you come home to yourself in coming home to your loving nature.
This is your birthright.
Now let's take some time to practice loving-kindness together.
We have a short meditation that I will start by offering to you.
And then together we will offer it to more and more other beings,
Eventually reaching out across the whole world.

May you be free from harm and fear.
May you feel and know how loved you are.
May you live in love and wholeness.
To practice loving-kindness in a balanced and powerful way,
We need to include ourselves in the happiness and wellness that we wish for all beings.
So please offer the following intentions to yourself.
May I be well.
May I be happy.
May I live in joy and peace.
May I be free from harm and fear.
May I feel and know how loved I am.
May I live in love and wholeness.
As we practice sending love outward,
It can be helpful to start with someone we already love very much.
So now call to mind someone you find easy to love,
A great friend,
A pet,
Any person or being who makes you smile just thinking about them.
May they be well.
May they be happy.
May they live in joy and peace.
May they be free from harm and fear.
May they feel and know how loved they are.
May they live in love and wholeness.
Now let's practice radiating loving-kindness outward,
Sharing it generously,
Even with people we're not already close to.
We'll start with our own surroundings and then widen our circle more.
So let's start with the beings in your neighborhood.
Plants,
Animals,
And people who live right around you.
May they be well.
May they be happy.
May they live in joy and peace.
May they be free from harm and fear.
May they feel and know how loved they are.
May they live in love and wholeness.
Now let's expand our circle to the whole town or city or area where you live.
May all beings be well.
May they be happy.
May they live in joy and peace.
May they be free from harm and fear.
May they feel and know how loved they are.
May they live in love and wholeness.
Now let's open our circle up to the whole world.
All plants,
Animals,
And people.
All beings of all kinds everywhere.
May they be well.
May they be happy.

Take your time to continue to radiate love outward and to bask in the love you feel.
You are part of the eternal and limitless energy of love that is always surrounding us,
Whether or not we are aware of it.
Take some time now to dwell in the awareness of loving kindness.
It is your home.
In coming home to love,
You come home to your truest self,
Your true nature.
