Hello there,
Hello.
Welcome to today's healing meditation for women.
Go ahead and begin to bring a little bit more intention and awareness towards your present moment.
That could be by breathing slowly and deeply down into your low belly.
That could be placing your hands on top of your heart,
One palm on top of the other palm.
It could be running your thumbs against the tips of your index fingers and then making your way to all of the other fingertips.
Noticing your skin,
Your bones,
Your ligaments,
Tissue,
Fascia,
All that makes you,
You.
I find as women living in a world that is constantly presenting the narrative to us to change ourselves both internally and externally,
It's so important to come together to remember our innate perfection and wholeness.
So today we're together online and I'm so happy you're here.
Continue to settle into your space.
And I was inspired to make this meditation because I visited the Cherokee reservation in western North Carolina,
Close to where I live,
A couple of weeks ago.
And I was speaking with one of the native women on the reservation and she shared with me that in her culture and tradition,
Women are seen as perfect in the eyes of nature.
Women are seen as perfect in the eyes of nature.
Is there anything you can do to settle into your body a little bit more right now in this moment?
You are perfect in the eyes of nature.
You are perfect.
And there is a motherly love that is holding you.
This unconditional love coming from Mother Earth.
If you could imagine for just a moment and maybe if it's feasible right now,
If you're sitting or laying down,
You close your eyes and imagine the eyes of nature,
Of Mother Earth watching over you,
Seeing you in your wholeness,
Seeing you in your innate state of perfection,
Exactly as you are right here,
Right now.
So maybe that's the you that is messy bun and sweatpants.
Maybe that's the you that is feeling a little extra tender today.
Maybe that's the you that is freshly showered and ready to go.
Whoever you are today,
Right here,
Right now,
Allow the eyes of nature,
The eyes of our Great Mother to witness you in your perfection.
In through your nose,
Receive a full breath in and descend the inhale breath downwards all the way towards the low belly,
Even the pelvis.
And exhale out your nose or your mouth,
Clear it away.
Take a couple more grounding breaths in and out,
Just like that.
And these eyes that are witnessing you in your beauty,
Your rawness,
Your authenticity.
They are eyes that are also inside of you.
As there is a well inside of you that knows its innate perfection and completion,
That knows that the beautiful lines on your skin are your stories,
That knows that the softness of your belly holds the entire universe.
Inside of it,
That knows to be a woman upon this earth in this day and age is like damp,
Dark soil to city concrete.
That to be a woman upon this earth is like a heaping spoonful of presence in a world that tells us to keep reaching forward and looking ahead.
The eyes that see you as perfect are not eyes that are separate from you.
As you are nature yourself.
You are the bloom of spring.
You are the burst of summer.
You are the shedding of fall,
And you are the rest of winter.
And deep,
Deep inside of you,
There is a well of unconditional love.
Maybe you find that love today for just a fleeting second.
Maybe today you don't access it within,
And that is a well of unconditional love.
That is totally okay.
When you can't find it within,
Let the eyes of nature,
Of mother earth hold you and support you,
But always remember that that is not a force that is separate from you.
You are the bones.
You are the roots.
You are the soil of this earth.
And friends,
Before we close today,
I'd like to invite you to take a moment,
If you're tuning in from America or Canada,
To honor the original keepers of the land that we now call home.
Thank you so much for joining me today,
Sweet sister,
And for remembering our perfection together.
I'll see you next time.
