Good morning,
Friends.
Hello.
I'm so happy you're here and that we made it here together.
As we settle in,
I'd like to go ahead and just begin by sharing that the you that you are today is enough.
The you that you have woken up as,
Whoever you are today is enough.
Sometimes we wake up and we have so many expectations that we've put on ourselves to feel a particular way or go about the day in a particular state or to complete a certain amount of tasks or check a certain amount of things off of the to-do list.
And if you're feeling any expectations that you're putting upon yourself today,
Is it possible to release some of that right now so you can connect to your body,
Connect to your breath and see what is actually true for yourself in this moment.
Begin to connect to your current moment by steadying and slowing down your breath.
Take a full breath in through your nose.
Breathe all the way down towards your low belly.
Slowly fill up.
Exhale out the nose or the mouth.
Clear the breath away.
And then begin to feel these expectations move a little further away from your body by relaxing your shoulders away from your ears,
By softening through your jaw and the space in between your teeth,
By softening the space in between your eyebrows to broaden across the expanse of your forehead.
As you continue to connect more to your breath and your body and a little bit less to your mind,
And if your mind is super active,
That is totally human and okay and normal.
So let the mind be what it is,
But continue to just bring your awareness to breath and body.
And within that awareness,
Can you find a little bit more clarity as to what is truly awake within you today?
And whatever you begin to find within you,
Allow that to be enough.
This body is enough.
This breath is enough.
This moment is enough.
The you that you are right now is enough.
Allow yourself the reprieve of being with you,
With whatever is present for you this morning,
Without trying to change it or alter it or expect something different from it.
Whether you're seated or standing or laying down,
Begin to bring your awareness to your front body,
This area of your body that you outwardly present to the world,
The front of your body.
Begin to visualize your front body as a metaphor for the future,
For this reaching forward towards future versions of you that you've defined as better or more worthy or more productive or more knowledgeable and lovable.
Now,
Notice your back body.
Allow your back body to become a symbol or a metaphor for reaching back towards the past,
Towards versions of you that you've outgrown,
But maybe you define as better or maybe versions of you that you miss.
Now,
Notice your heart.
Where front body and back body come together and meet in wholeness.
The heart is the here and the now.
The heart is the entirety of you.
The heart is the breath.
The heart is the moment.
The you that you are in this very moment is enough.
The you that you are in this very moment is enough.
Thank you so much for joining me,
Sweet friends.
I hope you have a beautiful day and that you walk through your day remembering your enoughness.
I'll see you next time.
