Or this meditation will be finding clarity in times of uncertainty or in times of overwhelm or just feeling like your mind is cluttered maybe a lot is going on at the moment And so wherever you are,
I'll invite you to find a comfortable seat whether it's sitting cross-legged whether it's in a different position.
And as you sit here,
Just start to notice the environment around you.
Noticing any sounds,
Any textures.
Noticing the points of grounding that you may be coming in contact with And if you haven't already,
You can close the eyes or lower the gaze.
Keeping the eyes soft,
Cheeks soft,
Jaw unclenched.
And starting to find your breath Breathing in.
I'm letting go.
Breathing in.
And there we go continuing with this pattern.
Allowing the inhale to extend.
Allowing the exhale to lengthen.
And just notice if any parts of the body start to tense up,
Tighten,
Grip or hold.
And without trying to change anything or fix anything,
See if you can place your attention to it.
Notice it.
Notice what the sensation is.
And then see if you can relax.
Allowing that tension or tightness to fade Now bringing attention to your breath.
Noticing how the breath fills your body Notice how it works with your body Now draw the awareness to your mind.
And I know in meditation we normally don't draw attention to our thoughts,
But it's so normal to have thoughts come and go.
We're always going to be thinking about something.
So I'll invite you to notice whatever is present for you at the moment.
Without judgment.
Without thinking anything is bad or good,
Right or wrong.
And for today,
Let's invite the practice of detachment.
So often we find ourselves attached to some thought or some process or something going on a certain way.
We put so much control into it,
So much attachment.
And so much of our energy goes into fixing,
Controlling.
Making sure things happen in a certain way,
In a certain direction.
And while sometimes we may have control over some things,
Many times we don't.
And for that,
Can we allow detachment?
Detachment over the things that we can't control.
Giving grace to yourself that you tried your best.
Giving grace to yourself.
That you tried to do your best,
But maybe sometimes the circumstances just don't work and we may have to detach.
Bit by bit.
Little by little.
And you may notice that when you detach from the thought you may find more clarity more of a spaciousness feeling in the body.
Letting go.
Maybe there's a sense of freedom.
Maybe there's a softening,
A feeling of ease Or maybe there's still rigidness,
Tightness,
Tension.
And whatever you may be feeling at the moment.
Notice it.
Come back to it.
Without making anything right or wrong,
Without adding our interpretations or perceptions.
The next few moments will be some time of silence.
And I'll invite you too.
Notice what might be coming up for you.
Hold it with grace,
Softness,
Compassion,
Care.
And know that you are held and supported.
Taking a deep breath in and a full breath out Another deep breath in and a full breath out.
And just noticing how you feel now compared to when you first started.
Is there any difference?
And there doesn't have to be.
But just the last few moments of tuning into your body before you go back out into the real world.
Slowly start to bring movement into your fingertips and your toes.
When it feels right for you,
You can gently open the eyes.
Thank you so much for joining me today,
And I wish you a great day ahead.
