Hello,
My name is Viola.
Welcome to this meditative poem that I have written for all of us who have experienced some kind of trauma.
And if this poem speaks to your heart,
I have other tracks under my profile.
One is labeled meeting your brave inner child who has never left you.
I call this poem,
I walk within the trees.
I walk within the trees for it is where I breathe.
At times I'll sit in awe of the crisscross paths of twigs.
Resilient through the years.
Reflective of my own existence,
Of all that I've observed.
I walk within the trees for it is where I breathe.
Free from holes that once held me tight.
Birthed in darkness,
Reborn in the light.
I walk within the trees for it is where I breathe.
Once I was broken,
Now I am whole.
Cradled by the leaves,
Jubilant in this stillness.
Sheltered from all the noise,
I walk within the trees for it is where I breathe.
