This recording of a live Q & A has been edited for clarity, length, and helpfulness. Beneath thoughts and emotions are our "positions or postures" in life. These are our unconscious assumptions. They guide the emotions and thoughts that occur from them. One posture is that I will feel good when I accomplish my goal. By holding that posture one has to squelch their innate joy of Being which always feels good in order to wait until that task is fulfilled. This can include spiritual practices. " I will feel good after my meditation". Implying I can't just feel good now. These podcasts are what I have found to be the most helpful over the last 50 years on my path of awakening. They are most powerful in sequence from podcast one forward because each is built on the last. They, also, all stand on their own. Though I am a psychotherapist these podcasts are offered to be spiritually helpful. They are not psychotherapy. Please reach out to a psychotherapist if ever needed.
