Right let's make ourselves comfortable.
Putting our attention on our body and our breath as we settle.
Allowing our body to be comfortable.
And feeling how it feels to take our attention away from the external world.
To our internal world.
Taking deeper breaths,
Having a little fidget if we need to.
Making sure our body is as comfortable as it can be at ease.
But not quite so comfortable we're going to nod off.
We want a little bit of alert too so we can be upright.
Our spine tall,
Our chest open so we can take some deeper breaths.
And we'll use the crown to cock x breathing technique to start us off.
So as we inhale we allow our attention to run from our tailbone up to the top of our head.
Exhaling our attention runs from the top of our head down to our tailbone.
And we'll let that breath be comfortable,
We're not trying to breathe too deeply.
So,
Comfortable breath.
If your mind wanders it's completely fine because it does that all the time.
And as we notice it's done that we become more aware of what our mind is doing and we just come back.
Inhaling to the crown of our head.
And exhaling attention running down to our tailbone.
Exhaling.
We're going to extend that visualization.
So that as we inhale we create a line of light that comes out the top of our head into the infinity of space above us.
Exhaling all the way back down through the crown of our head down our spine out the bottom of our tailbone into the earth below us and down deep into the earth.
Inhaling all the way back up again.
Full breaths but comfortable we're not straining.
And visualizing that column that direction we are creating any way we like.
And as your breaths are full they may become a little slower and we can allow that but we're not forcing it.
So we're connecting with infinity above us and the earth below us.
So noticing a different perspective on our situation,
On our existence,
Our being.
I invite you to take your attention into the universe above you and visualize each atom.
There's a little point of light.
Each little point of light is connected in a web to each other little point of light.
The vastness of space becomes a matrix,
An interconnected whole of which you are part.
Your being is made of little points of light connected to all the other little points of light.
So and in between the atoms,
The lights,
There is not space,
There is energy,
There is no void but it is full of unimaginable quantities of energy.
It's stable like it's packed away but it's full of power.
So you are full of this energy.
Breathe.
Be still and breathe in a universe but it's full of energy,
Connected and conscious.
Another piece of the jigsaw is that it is all conscious.
A living universe.
So brimming with power and it is listening to you because you are part of it.
Sit and be and breathe in the knowing that you're part of this living conscious whole.
So and I invite you now to look down upon the earth from above.
Observing mother earth,
Observing on her surface all the activity.
There is a lot of destruction,
Devastation,
Terrible,
Terrible things but just just as much there is wonderful creative strong healthy growing and it is important where you put your focus because you are connected to it all and the universe this system of the earth is listening and you can influence it in your small or not so small way.
And when you put all your focus on the devastation and the destruction it grows in your perception and keeps you small and impotent.
When you allow your focus to remain with the positivity,
The potential then you are better able to look after yourself those around you and to take part in the positivity and the potential.
It's positive feedback either way what do you want to bring in and we choose in each moment because we are connected to this whole.
Sit and be and breathe in your connection to this system.
Not in a way that puts pressure on you but in a way that rewards you when you relax into it.
So in a way that means you sitting and being with awareness might be the very best thing you can do to support the positive and have it ripple out around you.
So so lastly I invite you to look again at Mother Earth and see her not as a site of destruction not as ill but as a conscious powerful being because she is part of that conscious powerful universe.
See her as healthy strong as a being that grows with us covered in seeds for the future just cracking open full of potential possibility even if we don't see it just yet seeds beginning to crack open tiny little shoots emerging all over her of new growth and we may choose to set our intention here and now to support those new shoots where we can in the physical and with our intention with our being and our awareness our consciousness so remembering in each moment is important where we put our focus there is no shame and no blame we all get sucked into the the pain and the suffering from time to time but as we practice we can become aware that has happened to us and return our focus to what we choose to bring in and rest so so as we breathe we're gaining that sense of connection to the earth through our tailbone through our feet and if we feel the need we can balance our energies with the earth so if we feel a little overloaded with energy she will balance it with you if you ask her thank you and as we gradually mobilize our body take a few deeper breaths we can retain a sense of the power in our being our connection with the whole and the potential of our awareness thank you for practicing with me
