Welcome to this meditation on your heart's desire.

Take a few moments to get comfortable and then close your eyes when you're ready.

Bring your focus to your breathing.

For the next three breaths,

We're going to be breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

And as we breathe out,

Feel free to let out a big sigh if it feels good.

So go ahead and start those three big breaths now.

Inhaling nice and deep and exhaling.

Now two more times on your own,

Letting any tension release from your body.

Now let the breath be natural,

No need to change it.

Feel the natural flow in and out of the lungs.

No effort,

Let your body just do it on its own.

Just relax in this moment and allow your body to sink deeper and deeper into where you're sitting.

Let peace and serenity wash over your entire body.

It's okay if a stray thought pops into your mind,

But when it does,

Let it go on its way,

Like clouds drifting by in the sky.

Begin to bring your focus on your physical body.

Become aware of your head and feel any tension just draining away.

Check that your jaw is soft and your eyelids feel heavy.

Your neck starts to melt into softness.

Your shoulders drop and relax and your whole back feels like it's smoothing out.

Your hips are heavy into the support underneath you.

The legs are also heavy and relaxed.

The feet release any tightness.

Even your toes feel relaxed.

Before you know it,

Your entire body starts to melt as you welcome relaxation into every inch of your being.

Now draw your awareness to your heart center.

See a rose-colored light just shining around your heart.

As this beautiful rose light shines,

You feel its essence of unconditional love.

It radiates compassion and acceptance.

You know you are loved.

You know you belong.

You know you are enough.

You feel safe here at your heart center.

Your heart knows your true desires.

Being open to any answer that pops into your mind,

Ask your heart what it wants.

If you didn't get a clear answer,

That's okay.

Just stay in this feeling of compassion for yourself.

Now whether you received an answer from your heart or not,

I want you to imagine now that you could see yourself about five years into the future.

What do you look like?

What are you wearing?

What's your home like?

What are you doing with your time that brings you joy?

Are you spending time with friends or family?

Take some time to daydream about your future life for a few moments.

The famous poet Rumi said,

What you seek is seeking you.

If you'd like,

Repeat the following affirmation silently to yourself three times.

What I seek is also seeking me.

Shift your focus back to your breathing now.

Feel the flow of the breath as it comes in and out of your nose.

Deepen your breath a little bit.

It's time to gently bring our bodies and minds back to the place where we are.

With your eyes still closed,

Imagine what the room around you looks like.

Listen for any sounds around you.

Notice the temperature.

Notice the feeling of the clothes on your skin.

Take as much time as you need to reawaken and eventually crack your eyes open nice and slow.
