This guided meditation is inspired by a field trip to the vast plateau of Tibet. Not only the spaciousness on the plateau shifted my perspective of “being human”, but also deeply in awe of the giant Himalayas. Thinking about it - however rough the weather could be, the mountain is there; however, as generations passed in the human world, the mountain is there. The mountain is always standing there, deeply grounded, with unwavering ease and grace. We could learn from the mountain's quiet strength.

Greetings,

Welcome to the space.

The inspiration of this guided meditation comes from a field trip to the vast plateau of Tibet.

We will spend the next 10 minutes together for a grounding and empowerment practice.

I'd like to invite you finding a comfortable position,

Whether seated or laying down,

Where you feel most supported.

Bring what you need,

Perhaps the favorite cushion,

Perhaps a cozy blanket,

Perhaps a scent.

When you feel ready,

I'd like to invite you to place one hand over the heart and the other over the navel.

Let us take a breath together collectively.

Inhale through the nose,

Exhale through the mouth.

Inhale,

Settle in the space,

Exhale with ease.

Last time,

Deep inhale,

Long exhale.

Find your own rhythm.

Let us take a gentle shoulder roll.

As your next inhale,

Rolling the shoulder to the front and up close to the ears,

Exhale back and down.

Allow your arms be heavy,

Palms resting,

Gently open,

Facing up.

Lower your eyelids with a soft gaze or fully closed.

Imagine hovering over a vast plain.

The end of vision is the end of horizon.

Not far away stands the great mountain.

At the foot of the mountain,

The flower blossoms,

While the peaks are covered with ice and snow.

Gentle breeze of air surrounds you,

Embraces you.

Take a deep inhale,

Sense the air infused with a hint of floral sweetness and fresh pine tree.

The beams of sunshine lands on your skin.

You can feel its weight as well as its texture.

You are bathed in warmth.

Take a long deep inhale,

Long deep exhale.

You are the mountain,

Observing all that is around you.

With steady hand ease,

Rain showers over your shoulder,

Wind brushes your hair.

You are here,

Unaffected.

The sun and the moon take turns,

Seasons float.

You are here,

Unrushed.

You are the mountain,

Standing with grace,

Patience and stillness.

Gradually bring your awareness back to the body,

Wiggling fingers and toes,

Slowly rotating head from side to side.

Bring both hands together,

Rubbing to build up heat.

Place the palms over the eyes.

May we see with clarity.

Bring the hands together,

Rubbing.

Place the palms over the ears.

May we listen with intuition.

Palm together,

Rubbing.

Place both palms above the mouth.

May we speak with authenticity.

Palms together,

Rubbing.

Feeling the heat building up.

Both palms above the heart.

Let's settle here for a moment.

May the mountain be your compass.

May confidence be your expression.

May you feel with ease and peace.

When ready,

Gently flutter open the eyes.

Thank you for having shared energies together and carving out time,

Practice self-care.

From my light to yours.
