Welcome to your mini sound vacation.
Please just take a moment to make sure that you are either seated or lying very comfortably.
Maybe have a little wriggle and when you're ready just relaxing into that position and closing down your eyes.
I invite you to take three deeper breaths with me now.
Good.
Whilst taking those breaths you may have become aware of maybe some aches,
Pain or tension in some parts of your body.
I invite you now to use the next few breaths to send love and compassion to these parts of your body.
Breathing in with the light and exhaling directing all that goodness to whichever parts of your body really need it.
In your own time going at your own pace just really focusing on relaxing melting,
Releasing any stored up stress.
Good.
Now just allow your breath to return to a normal pattern and allow yourself to be taken into your inner world.
Imagine yourself to be in a room and in this room you see a set of stairs.
It's a short flight of stairs leading downwards.
You can see clearly the door at the bottom of the stairs.
It's not dark but just go over to those stairs.
There's only 10 steps and taking hold of the handrail I'd like you to begin descending the steps utilising your breath to help guide you down.
You're about halfway down now.
Just allowing yourself to really deepen and relax with every step and here on the last door you see the handle and you reach for it and you open the door and as you do so you're greeted by the most beautiful sight.
It's your safe happy place.
It may be a garden,
It may be a beach.
It's wherever you feel safe and happy and able to explore.
You're greeted by the wind.
You feel it across your face.
You feel the warmth and it's calling and beckoning to you.
Come explore and so you take the plunge and step out of the doorway into your magical vacation.
If at any point you feel like you need to come back that's fine.
Just pause,
Return to the breath,
Ground yourself.
You take a few more steps and begin to walk around.
See the sights and I will come back and lead you back home in a little while.
Happy journey.
And now just bringing yourself back into your breath.
Letting go,
Giving thanks for all that you have seen and experienced here in the last little while.
Taking one last look at the beautiful environment that you've just been in and then making your way back to the door.
And walking back through the door you're on the bottom step and again using your breath to help guide you up the 10 steps back into the room.
You're about halfway back up.
You're beginning to feel your presence coming back into your body.
Maybe you just start to wriggling your toes and as you get to the top and you're back in that room you can wiggle your fingers,
Very gently move any parts of your body which feel they need movement.
Having a full stretch and a yawn whatever you feel called to do.
Very slowly,
Completely in your own time.
There's no rush.
You can begin to open your eyes.
