Experience yourself sitting comfortably,
Beginning to receive comfort with each and every breath.
Notice the quality of positive sensation that the breath provides you as you take a very deep breath into your abdomen and then draw the breath all the way up into the lungs.
That's right.
Then gently holding your breath for the count of one,
Two,
And three.
Then releasing,
Letting the breath go,
Flowing out of your chest,
Releasing,
Letting it go out of your abdomen,
Experiencing that wonderful and relaxing sensation as you rest,
Settling down.
Perhaps you're sitting on your meditation cushion or in a straight back chair.
Perhaps you're reclining in a comfortable floor-like setting,
Propped up with one,
Two,
Or three pillows behind your back,
Or you may even experience the pleasure and the delight of standing and going deeper and deeper into the rhythm and the flow of following your in-breath,
Mentally repeating in as the breath expands and fills your abdomen and lungs,
And gently holding it for one,
Two,
Or three,
And the pleasure of letting go and releasing the breath all the way out as you deepen into this restful and peaceful state of cultivating meditative,
Wise mind.
