Hey there,
Can you believe we're in July already?
That makes today's practice a great time to pause and reflect on the first half of your year.
Let's find a comfortable seat and let your body settle.
Bringing your whole self here all the different versions of you.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And a soft breath out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale.
And exhale.
Letting the body soften.
Now bring your attention to the past few months.
Without overthinking,
Just notice what comes to mind.
What have you experienced this year so far?
Take a moment to reflect on something you're proud of.
Maybe it's something you started,
Something you showed up for.
Something you moved through,
Even if it was difficult.
Bring to mind any challenges or obstacles you faced.
And without judgment,
Simply acknowledge them.
These two were part of your path.
Part of your growth,
Your learning.
You're becoming Take a slow breath in.
And a long breath out.
Take a moment to acknowledge what these experiences have taught you.
And perhaps the lessons aren't fully clear yet,
But trust that something within you has shifted and grown.
Now gently shift toward gratitude.
Think of a moment that brought you joy.
A memory that made you smile.
Person who supported you along the way.
And let that warmth settle in your chest.
Let that good feeling fill your heart.
As you sit here,
Recognize that everything you've experienced,
The highs,
The lows,
And the in-betweens,
Are all stepping stones on your journey.
You don't need to have it all figured out.
Take a moment now to look gently ahead with an open heart,
An open mind of the possibilities.
What kind of energy or intention would you like to carry forward?
Or for the rest of the year.
And let that thought be simple and light.
And take a cycle of breath to seal in this promise for yourself.
When you're ready,
Bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Carry your reflections,
Your growth,
And your gratitude with you.
And let's welcome the second half of the year with joy and anticipation.
And until next time,
Have a good one.
