Welcome,

Vibrant soul,

To this awakening practice.

For this particular practice,

I invite you to find your way into comfort within a position that allows your body to feel both relaxed and alert,

Whatever that means to you,

Simply settling in to any position that allows you to be ready to connect with the energy that lives within you.

Let's begin by simply becoming aware of your breathing,

Tuning in,

Awakening your breath.

Breathing in and breathing out,

In with intention and presence,

And out with release and appreciation for your body,

For your inner wisdom,

And for all that is offered here.

Feeling your body come alive with each in and out cycle of breath.

With your next inhale a little deeper,

Drawing more energy into your body,

Into your cells,

Feeling yourself become more present,

More alive with each breath,

In and out.

Breathing in vitality,

Breathing out anything that feels heavy or stagnant.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Allowing your body to move in any way it desires as you breathe in more life and breathe out anything that needs released.

Tuning in to your body with appreciation,

Starting with your feet,

Feeling the strength in your feet.

The inherent intelligence in the way they carry you through your life.

The way they serve you each day.

Deep breath in and blowing it out.

Your legs strong and capable,

Supporting you in every step of your journey.

Your hips,

Your center of power and creativity,

Allow your hips to feel alive and energized,

Whatever that means to you.

Shifting in whatever way allows for this feeling to most freely flow.

Tuning in to your belly,

Your core,

The seat of your intuition and strength.

Breathing life into this space.

Offering love and appreciation.

Your chest,

Your very heart center.

Drinking in deeply with your next breath.

Expanding your lungs,

Feeling your heart open and radiant.

And releasing.

And your shoulders,

Rolling them back,

Reclaiming the confidence that is your birthright.

Become aware of your arms,

Tuning in to the feeling of the energy flowing through them.

Your hands,

Capable,

Creative.

In your beautiful face,

Eyes bright,

Jaw relaxed,

Feeling the aliveness in every cell.

Deep breath in,

Sighing it out.

Sighing it out.

As you continue with these deep breaths in and out,

I invite you to place both hands on your heart.

Feel the powerful rhythm there,

Not just surviving,

But thriving.

Beat after beat,

Day after day,

Continually pumping life force energy to and through every part of your being.

There is energy within you.

A fire.

A living force that has carried you through everything in your life right to this very moment.

Breathing in and breathing out.

A force that continues to burn brightly regardless of what life has brought your way.

In and out.

This fire is yours.

It has always been yours.

And it burns independently of circumstance.

With your next deep breath in,

Imagine fanning this inner flame.

Feeling it grow brighter,

Stronger,

More expansive,

More radiant with each breath.

This fire is your enthusiasm for life,

Your capacity for joy,

Your excitement for what's possible,

Your essential aliveness.

Growing it with your breath,

Allowing your body to move in any way it might desire in response.

As you continue breathing in,

I'm breathing out.

In this space of fire and energy,

Allow yourself to receive this question.

What would make me feel most alive in my life right now?

Don't think the answer,

Feel it.

Notice what arises in your body when you consider what truly ignites you.

Perhaps it's creativity,

Adventure,

Connection,

Learning,

Service,

Perhaps movement.

Whatever emerges for you is perfect.

Simply allow yourself to feel it awakening within your body,

With the very cells of your body,

And continue to build this energy with your breath.

Deep breath in and out.

In and out.

I invite you to imagine this life force within you beginning to collect at your core,

Gathering shape and light,

Growing,

Expanding with every breath you offer,

And beginning to radiate out from your core,

Spreading throughout your entire body,

And then beginning to extend beyond your body,

Creating an aura of energy and aliveness around you.

In and out.

You are not meant to simply exist.

You are meant to be fully alive,

Fully engaged,

Fully expressed.

This energy,

This life force,

This gift is yours.

This life is uniquely yours,

And it is meant to be felt and experienced and lived.

As you continue to breathe deep and expansive,

Continue to feel this energy pulsing through you,

Reminding you that you have so much life within you,

So much yet to live,

So much joy yet to experience,

And so much growth yet to embrace.

Breathing in aliveness,

And breathing out and away any sense of resignation or of settling.

This life force,

This fire,

This beautiful energy,

It belongs to you,

And it is not selfish to claim it.

It is essential.

It is yours.

And this world needs what we have to offer when we are fully alive.

Beginning to slow your breathing,

As we begin to close this practice,

Continue to feel the energy flowing through your body.

Awake to the aliveness in your muscles,

The brightness in your cells,

And the fire in your heart.

You are meant to shine.

You are meant to thrive.

You are meant to be.

Be fully,

Vibrantly alive.

As you step forward from here,

You might pay attention to what moments,

To what people,

What intuitions or experiences make this inner fire burn brighter,

And to wonder what small choices you might make to honor,

Experience,

And expand this aliveness throughout your day.

When you're ready,

Begin to move your body,

Stretching,

Feeling the energy flowing within you.

And if they have been closed,

I invite you to open your eyes.

I encourage you to step into your day with this aliveness,

Aware of this fire within you,

Ready to engage fully with whatever life offers.
