
Shower Of Happiness For Relaxation And Pain Relief
Allow yourself to relax as a shower of happiness washes away any physical discomfort and fills your body with good feelings. Think of it as another level of support when you need to relax and want to replace stress or pain with any good feelings you desire, and the sense of loving your life. Use this meditation to add another level of support to expand a sense of peace and contentment in life.

Find yourself a comfortable place,
Lay back,
And just gently close your eyes.
In a moment,
I'm going to ask you to take three deep and relaxing breaths.
Each time as you exhale after each breath,
You're going to find yourself relaxing ever more deeply.
So here we go.
Take your first breath and hold it for the count of three.
And exhale.
And a second deep breath,
Holding for the count of three.
And out.
Relaxed and breathing deeply for the third time.
Inhaling.
Holding for the count of three.
And exhale out.
And just let your body go,
Relaxing comfortably into your space,
Just noticing you're being supported by the furniture or the bed that you're laying on.
And I'd like you now to use your imagination and imagine yourself on a warm summer day,
Feeling the comforting warmth as the sun just gently warming and touching your skin ever so lightly.
Imagine yourself on a very comfortable and well-padded sun lounge.
It's been placed there just for you,
And this is the most comfortable lounge in the whole entire world.
And you're all alone and so very relaxed.
And as you imagine yourself in this lovely garden area,
Just notice the sounds of the animals and the birds and the trees around you.
Notice how safe and secure and protected you feel.
You have all the time in the world.
And notice,
In your imagination,
An ever so slight breeze against your skin.
You notice that every time you feel this breeze,
That it makes you relax more and more.
It's a warm and comforting and relaxing breeze.
And you're feeling it on different parts of your body.
You notice different aspects of your body relaxing ever more deeply.
As you feel the breeze now,
As it gently caresses the top of your head,
You feel your head relax.
And now your face,
And all the muscles in your face,
Feeling your mouth relax,
Your forehead,
Your chin,
Your jaw,
Feeling your eyes relax.
Relaxing now more and more as you're noticing this breeze very gently caressing and relaxing all of the muscles in your face.
So beautiful,
So calm,
And so relaxing.
Feel your neck relax as the breeze touches it,
And just notice any tension is carried far away by the breeze as it moves down to your shoulders,
Allowing your shoulders to relax.
And you just let them go,
Relaxing back into your lounge,
Feeling the breeze now on your torso,
Relaxing and releasing.
Noticing your chest relax as the breeze continues to move further down,
Relaxing your back and your abdomen,
The breeze is just caressing and carrying all of the weight away,
And noticing your arms relax,
And your hands relaxed,
Feeling them even more limp,
Even more heavy,
Laying by your sides,
And just let them be how they want to be,
Feeling the breeze on your hips as they relax and sink even more deeply into the lounge,
And as the warm and comforting breeze moves down over your thighs,
Noticing your thighs relax,
Your hips and your knees relaxing,
Your lower legs moving into your calves and your ankles and your toes,
And as you imagine and feel those parts of your body let go,
Just allow yourself to relax completely,
Feeling yourself now in a deep state of relaxation.
Notice now how your breathing has slowed.
Your breathing has slowed to match this deep state of deep relaxation.
As the warm,
Relaxing and comforting breeze continues to relax your whole body ever deeper and deeper as each moment goes by,
And now as you're relaxing on the most comfortable lounge chair in the whole entire world,
Just gently imagine,
Imagine that you're noticing the sun is dropping a little deeper,
A little lower in the sky.
Just imagine the beautiful rays starting to show up in the sky.
Notice the colors,
The shades of the reds and the blues and the yellows as the sun starts to sink deeper,
Deeper and deeper,
And you notice the colors as they dance upon the few scattered clouds as you continue to gaze up effortlessly into the sky.
You watch the clouds begin to form into shapes,
And some of them look like animals,
Some look like trees,
All different types of shapes that let your imagination begin to roam.
And then suddenly you notice that one of the clouds that's nearly above you begins to form into the shape of a number.
It looks like the number 25.
And as the soft breeze blows on your skin and blows the cloud,
You begin to see it dissolve and blow away just as easily as it formed.
Then you notice another cloud coming by that forms the number 24.
And that one begins to dissolve.
The soft breeze is gently washing it away,
And you notice that this keeps happening very slowly as the clouds form into the number 23.
It then dissolves away and a new cloud forms into number 22.
And it continues this way,
Going down in numbers very,
Very slowly,

And you notice that in between each numbered cloud,
As it blows away and as the next one forms,

That you are becoming so,
So very tired,

So,
So relaxed,
And you enjoy this wonderful relaxation,

And you find yourself even allowing yourself to let go completely,

You give yourself the permission that this is what you want to do,

As you continue to see the clouds forming into the numbers,

And you continue to observe them slowly on your own,

And with each one as it goes by,

You become twice as relaxed,
Twice as much as the one before,

As you observe them,

Dissolving,
Just passing by,

You are so comfortable,
So open,
So safe.
Deeper and deeper into this wonderful relaxed state,

Relaxing more and more,

All outside sounds seem to help you let go even more,

As you allow yourself to be completely,
Totally relaxed,
Totally safe,

Deep and completely at ease,
You fall into a wonderful dreaming state,

Until finally,
You see the last cloud form into the number 1,
And as it dissolves,
You allow yourself to let go completely,
Deep and so very relaxed.
In this completely relaxed state,
I'd like you to imagine that you're in the process of taking a shower,
In your own home,
Completely safe,
Completely private,
And just imagine you're wearing a bathing suit or some other form of clothing if you wish,
And you're completely comfortable,
You're completely safe,
And you are alone in your bathroom,
And imagine in your shower,
Feeling the water from the shower as it touches your body,
And notice that it's warm and very soothing,
And you realize that there is something quite different about this water,
It has special healing abilities,
And just imagine the water running over your skin,
Feeling the warmth as it surrounds you,
And allow the water to run over the parts of your body that are experiencing pain,
And just notice how much better you feel as soon as the water comes in contact with these areas.
And as you know,
Pain puts off energy in the form of heat.
As the water washes over the painful areas,
You begin to feel something happening.
It feels as if the water is clinging to this warm energy and washing it away,
And as it does so,
You notice that you begin to feel better.
As the water washes over the affected areas,
It's clinging to the energy emanating from the pain,
And washing it down the drain,
Never to be seen again.
And just imagine this process in your own home,
In your shower,
Being surrounded by this healing special water,
Feeling the water pouring over your body,
Feeling wonderful as it clings to the pain and washes it down the drain.
And imagine,
Imagine this happening,
And as you feel the pain becoming less and less,
Just allow yourself to rotate your body while you're in the shower into all the areas that you feel any type of pain.
I'd like you now to take a moment and think of some happy thoughts.
What sort of things make you very happy?
Simply think about them.
The way it feels when you're outside in nature,
Spending time with animals and loved ones,
Standing tall,
Feeling spacious and energized,
And mobile and free in your body.
Just notice all the things that make you happy.
And just get them clear in your mind.
And now,
I'd like you to imagine that these happy thoughts,
These happy things,
Are attaching their positive energy to the water as it comes in contact with your body.
And as the pain is washed away,
It's left behind a void that needs to be replaced with something.
So any little bit,
Any little area,
Any cell where the pain once was that now has a void is being replaced with this happiness.
And imagine it.
Feel it happening.
Noticing the water is changing into a beautiful,
Bright,
Iridescent,
Sparkly light.
And you can see the energy emanating from this water with all of the positivity,
All of the happiness,
All of the joy,
All of the peace,
And all of the freedom that feels so,
So good.
And as you're noticing this water running over your body,
You're feeling it running into each of the cells and the muscles and the fibers and the tendons and the ligaments,
Running across your body and just soaking in,
Filling in any place that there was a void.
And as the pain is washed away,
The happiness is filling it in,
Helping you,
Making you stronger.
And just take a few moments now to imagine this process as this beautiful,
White,
Pearly,
Iridescent water is washing over your body,
Filling your cells with this happiness.
And as you begin to feel stronger and stronger and feeling this happiness filling all the cells of your body,
Allow yourself to sink deeper and deeper into this feeling of renewal,
Regeneration,
And vibrancy.
And just notice how good it feels to be enlivened,
To be whole.
And as you have all of these wonderful gifts,
This new experience of happiness and joy and vibrancy radiating into your cells,
It's all safely installed within you.
It's yours to keep forever.
You begin to feel that sense of relaxation and calm and happiness returning.
And in a moment,
I'm going to count down from five to one.
And you'll awake feeling refreshed,
Renewed,
And invigorated,
Relaxed,
Calm,
And content.
Four,
Body and mind beginning to stir.
Three,
Life coursing throughout your body,
Feeling your senses returning to full awareness.
Two,
Eyelids beginning to open.
And one,
Eyes wide open,
Fully awake,
Fully alert,
And energized for the rest of your day.
