Ignite your personal power,
A meditation on the solar plexus chakra,
With Angelica Janic.
Welcome to this meditation,
We will be focusing on the third chakra,
The solar plexus,
Located in the upper abdominal region.
This chakra is associated with personal power,
Confidence,
And self-esteem.
We will be going through visualization techniques,
Breathing techniques,
And affirmations.
With silent holds throughout,
Ensure you have all the props that you need so you can sit comfortably.
Begin by finding a quiet place to meditate.
Whether you sit cross-legged on a cushion or in a chair with your back straight,
Allow your hands to rest down on your knees or in your lap,
Closing the eyes if you have not yet,
And take a few deep breaths in through your nose,
Holding the inhalation at the peak for a few seconds before releasing slowly through your mouth,
Repeating this several times until you feel relaxed and centered.
As you begin to focus on your solar plexus,
Visualize a bright yellow light in this area.
The element related to this location is fire.
Allowing this light to fill your entire body with warmth and positive energy,
Imagining a golden wire from the base of your spine rooting down into the center of the earth.
This wire goes up through the spinal cord,
Through the crown of the head,
Up toward the sky.
Lengthen this cord to straighten your spine,
Relaxing the skeleton around it,
The muscles and the skin.
Throughout the meditation,
Try to hold your focus on visualizing this bright yellow light in the solar plexus region of this chakra.
We will be going through three affirmations,
Repeating them three times together,
With time in between.
Deepen your breath.

Holding on to this statement and allow it to settle in every cell of your body.

Taking a deep breath in,
Exhaling out of the mouth.

Allow that to resonate throughout your being.

Visualizing that yellow ball of energy.

And exhaling from the mouth.
Now imagine yourself standing safely in front of a bright flame.
This fire is warm and inviting and you can feel the heat on your skin.
As you stand there before this flame,
Feel yourself becoming more energized and confident.
As you continue to focus on the fire,
Imagine any doubts,
Fears,
Or insecurities melt away in the heat.
Noticing the warm embrace of this safe space.
Allowing yourself to feel empowered and strong,
Ready to take on any challenge that comes your way.
Taking a few moments to simply bask in the warmth and energy of the fire.
Allow yourself to feel a deep sense of gratitude for your own strength and resilience.
Coming back to counting your breath.

As you come to the end of your meditation,
Take a few more deep and mindful breaths.
As you naturally and slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Wiggling your fingers,
Your toes.

Gently begin to open your eyes.
Taking as much time as you need,
You can stay here for a few more minutes and enjoy the residue of the meditation.
Bowing the chin to the chest to lengthen the back of the spine.
