Meditation to relieve pain.
Find a comfortable position.
You may lie down if you prefer.
Adjust your position as needed.
You should feel no tension in your body.
If you become uncomfortable during the meditation,
Feel free to readjust.
I leave you a few moments in order for you to find the position that suits you best.
Gently close your eyes and take a few deep slow breaths.
Inhale through your nose,
Exhale through your mouth.
Begin with one slow deep breath through your nose,
Counting up to five,
And exhale through your mouth,
Counting up to five.
Focus on your breathing.
Feel the cool air entering your lungs with each inhalation and the warm air leaving with each exhalation.
Let each breath relax you further.
We are going to repeat this breathing pattern three more times together.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Exhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Exhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Exhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Now bring your attention to the area of your body where you feel pain.
Without judgment,
Simply observe this sensation.
Imagine your breath flowing towards this area.
With each inhalation visualize a smoothing healing light entering your body and moving towards the painful area.
This light is warm,
Comforting and healing.
See it reaching the painful area.
With each exhalation imagine releasing tension and pain.
See the light taking tension and pain away.
Visualize them leaving your body through the sole of your foot or your heel if the pain is in the lower part of your body or through your palm if the pain is in the upper body.
Inhale,
The light reaches the painful zone.
Exhale,
The light carries the pain to the sole of your foot or your palm.
Continue this process for several breaths.
Inhale,
The healing light enters.
Exhale,
The pain departs.
You may feel warmth or a tingling sensation as the pain travels towards your foot or your hand.
Visualize the pain dissolving into the earth.
Envision wrapping the previous painful area in a cocoon of soft smoothing light.
This light acts as a balm relieving and calming the still sensitive area transforming it into a gentle mist that floats away.
Repeat after me.
I thank my body for this alert.
I release the pain.
I am at peace.
My body is healing itself.
Remain in this state of calm and peace for as long as you wish.
You can perform a body scan if you wish to make sure all discomfort and painful areas have disappeared.
Take your time to return to your surroundings.
Listen to the sounds around you.
Gradually come back by gently moving your hands,
Arms,
Feet or legs.
You may stretch if you like.
May you experience wonderful moments in these serene vibrations with love and light.
