Inner Child Healing Meditation Find a peaceful space where you can rest and feel safe.

Allow yourself to settle into a place of calm and comfort,

Whether you're sitting or lying down.

If you're on a chair,

Let your feet rest gently on the floor,

Your back straight but relaxed.

Give yourself permission to slow down and be present.

If at any point you feel discomfort or strong emotions,

Know that it's okay to pause and return whenever you're ready.

Be tender with yourself as you explore your inner child world.

There's no rush.

Take a moment to adjust your position if needed.

I'll give you a few moments to find your ideal position.

Let's begin by inviting a sense of ease and softness into your body.

Bring your attention to your breath.

Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of five,

And exhale gently through your mouth for a count of five.

Let's breathe together three times.

Inhale one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Exhale one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Now that you've settled into a gentle rhythm of breath,

Let's bring our attention to your heart space,

The center of your being.

See if you can sense your heartbeat.

Invite a feeling of warmth and acceptance into this space.

Think of something you love about yourself,

A quality or trait.

Offer yourself the same kindness you would give to a dear friend.

Where do you feel this in your body?

How does it make you feel?

As you notice this quality within you,

Allow yourself to feel gratitude for its presence.

And now,

With the same kindness,

Let's gently explore a part of yourself that feels more challenging.

With an open heart,

Reflect on a part of yourself you struggle with,

A trait you find challenging.

Notice where you feel this in your body.

When did you first notice this part of yourself?

How old were you?

What was happening around you at that time?

Who was with you?

What emotions were present?

Take your time,

There's no hurry.

Honor the story your inner child carries with gentleness.

Recognize the courage it took to survive and adapt.

How much did you love this part of yourself?

How might this trait have been a way for your younger self to cope?

Can you offer understanding and forgiveness to yourself for reacting this way?

Can you hold yourself gently in acceptance and love,

Making space for the child you once were?

Take your time,

There's no need to hurry.

Having honored both your strengths and your struggles,

Let's now turn to a practice that can help bring healing and forgiveness to these parts of you.

Now,

Let's invite the healing power of forgiveness with the ancient Hawaiian practice of Au Oponopono.

This simple yet powerful technique helps us release old memories and bring forgiveness and peace to our hearts.

Together,

We will consciously repeat four healing phrases.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Each phrase carries a special meaning.

I'm sorry for being at the root of this event or memory,

Even if it happened unconsciously.

Please forgive me.

I ask for forgiveness from myself and from the universe for any pain or misunderstanding I may have carried.

Thank you.

I express gratitude for this experience because it allows me to become aware of an old memory or belief that I was holding without realizing it.

I love you.

I send love to this memory,

Asking it to be released and healed.

As we repeat these phrases,

Let them gently wash over you,

Bringing comfort and light to any part of you that needs healing.

You can say them out loud or silently in your heart as you feel comfortable.

If you wish,

You can gently hug yourself,

Wrapping yourself in the embrace of healing love.

If emotions arise,

Welcome them with compassion,

Knowing you are safe.

Let's repeat together.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

As you understand the meaning behind each phrase,

Allow them to flow through you with intention and care.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

I'm sorry.

Thank you.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Let these words soften all wounds and bring peace.

Repeat as many times as you need.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Thank you for sharing this gentle practice with me.

Take a few moments to notice how you feel.

When you are ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the present,

Carrying with you the peace and compassion you've cultivated.

When you are ready,

Slowly return to the here and now.

Listen to the sounds around you.

Move gently,

Wiggling your fingers and toes,

And stretch if you wish.

Carry this sense of peace and self-love with you,

Allowing these moments of kindness to ripple through your day.

Step forward with the heart open to love and light.

With love and light.
