Hello and welcome again,

Soul travelers.

I'm Cherie and it's an honor to be with you today.

This is a contemplative piece to connect you deeper with the intimate nature of self-love.

Find your most comfortable position,

Whether sitting or lying down,

Fluff up your nest and begin to deepen your breath.

Let's just arrive and take a moment to soften and see where your breathing is at today.

And as you're breathing,

Following your natural rhythm,

If your mind wanders off,

It's more than okay.

In meditation,

We're not trying to stop our thoughts,

We're just witnessing and parking any thoughts off to the side for now.

And so just keep bringing it back to your natural breath,

In through the nose and out through the nose.

I will guide you on this journey today as we contemplate what is love and most of all the importance of self-love.

Finding your path to love need not be long,

Hard and painful.

Your path to love is always available,

The choice is always yours.

When we refer to love,

It can often be met with a seeking outside of oneself.

You may feel that we only experience love with another or that we require another to feel complete and whole.

Sometimes we just need a little reminder to awaken the heart and realign with our own innate wisdom to arrive in a space of self-love and acceptance.

Coming home to this truth and inner knowing is an enriching experience.

But like anything,

It takes practice.

Especially if we have lost the way or misplaced the direction somewhere,

A little like our car keys.

You know,

On how to get back to love and most of all,

Love of the self.

Self-enquiry is a wonderful way to bring you back into alignment.

It also brings us to asking the questions that enable us to loosen the grip,

Releasing fear which leads us into unlocking new and exciting doorways that all lead back to love of the self and love in general.

When we take time to reflect and connect,

We can then drop into a deeper part of the soul that only knows love and guides us back home.

When I think about love,

There are many words that work in direct relationship with the energy of love.

See if any of these words land for you and as you continue to follow your natural breathing rhythm,

I'm just gonna take a moment to read these out to you.

Taking a moment to see if there are any more words that resonate for you as we continue.

You may like to deepen your breathing here to the count of three on the inhale and five on the exhale as you create a deeper sense of self-love.

Feel free to come back to your normal breathing rhythm at any time as long as you're comfortable and there is no need to force anything.

Giving yourself full permission to receive these words.

What is love?

What is love?

A cry from afar,

Whisper like vibrations fill my field,

Wild terrain,

Wild rushing,

Slow in motion as I stand here naked in the field of my soul.

Transparent,

I feel like I'm lucid dreaming,

Wondering as I stand here,

What is this place I find myself in?

There,

Do you hear that?

There is the call of the wings of my sacred heart.

She whispers,

There is no need to try so hard.

You are never broken and you never fail.

As you age a little closer to that which beckons you,

You breathe in the silence,

Grappling with the contrast that your waking and dream life represents.

This yearning deep within you,

You have been here before.

This is not new territory.

The only difference now is your ability to surrender and let go in the face of adversity.

She comes to you,

A silent whispers around you and fills every part of the sacred heart space that is open and expansive.

Come,

Come for you have arrived,

Dear one.

You can share your wisdom and begin to unravel that of which is so precious.

Your heart,

Your love arising of what feels like warm liquid surrounding you,

Offering you an opportunity to see,

Hear,

Feel and to know your truth.

You tingle all over this sensation you have longed for,

Cried for.

You are highly attuned to the energy and the divine.

And once you step through the veil,

Your life will never be the same again.

You breathe in and out,

Taking your time to bask in the childlike splendor.

The sensations are building and you are longing for the connection of the self.

Back to the original and only truth,

The home of soul and the finest love of all.

You remind yourself here that it is okay to want and desire such affections.

It's more than okay to feel your precious precious nature flowing through you,

Every part of who you are.

It is time to give yourself full permission to be in love.

Embody its call,

Fully giving to you and that you by loving and living for you,

You are then able to truly touch and impact those around you.

As I stand here naked,

I can see for miles.

There are no blocks or boundaries to stand in my way.

Spirit lives inside of me and all around me and in every single moment of every day.

Now again,

Deepening your breath,

I'd like you to close this reflection and contemplative meditation with some questions that you can take forward with you.

You might want to take some time after this session to journal and go with what resonates most for you.

I have five offerings for you today.

Number one,

What prevents you from fully expressing love in your life?

Number two,

Are you giving yourself permission or are you holding tight a tight grip onto beliefs and or old memories that may appear to be challenging,

Difficult or painful?

Where can you loosen that grip?

Number three,

Are you standing fully in the expression of love?

If not,

What can you do for yourself today to begin to embody love more in your life?

Number four,

What is it you need to be,

Do and or have in your life to bring yourself back to love?

And number five,

What are you going to gift yourself today as you take one step closer to love and self-care?

I would you like you to now start to become aware of your breath and where your breathing is at as we start to arrive back in the present moment and in the space where we find ourselves sitting or lying down,

Deepening your breath and starting to bring some small movements back into your body,

Taking your time to arrive back in the now,

Taking a gentle stretch and softly blinking your eyes open.

It is always an honor and a privilege to share with you and connect in this space of love kindness and compassion.

Take any insights that dropped in for you into your day or evening.

Take care and much love from my heart to yours.

Namaste.
