Good morning!
Welcome to this gentle moment to ground yourself as you begin your day.
Wherever you are right now,
Lying in bed,
Sitting or standing,
Simply allow your body to settle into the support beneath you.
Take a slow,
Easy breath in and a soft,
Unhurried breath out.
Let your breath arrive naturally,
Just as it is.
No need to change anything.
When you're ready,
Inhale gently and exhale a little longer.
Inhale for a count of four.
Exhale for a count of six.
Feel the breath smoothing out.
Awakening the body in the softest way.
Notice the points of contact between your body and whatever is supporting you.
Feel the steadiness beneath you.
Feel how the body is held without effort.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw soften.
Let your belly relax.
Sense your spine,
Whether it's resting or rising,
As a gentle line of awareness from the base of your body to the crown of your head.
You are here.
You are arriving into a new day.
Feel a quiet steadiness spreading through you.
A grounded morning presence.
Silently repeat or simply feel the meaning of these words.
I am here.
I begin this day with clarity.
Let these intentions settle gently into the body.
Like soft morning light.
