Hello and thank you so much for joining me for our meditation today.

Today I invite you to completely relax laying down if possible but if not of course you can stay seated.

Let's find a comfortable position for you that will really help you to relax and let go.

Take any wiggles that you need to.

Let's take a long breath in and a slow breath out and take yourself somewhere really cozy.

Maybe exactly where you are right now.

Maybe you're tucked up in your bed or on the sofa.

Maybe somewhere in your imagination like a cozy cabin with a fireplace.

Maybe you're somewhere,

Somewhere special.

Wherever you are take yourself there.

Notice what you're lying on.

Notice what's around you.

Feel the warmth.

Feel the comfort of your space and allow yourself to really settle in.

There's nowhere you need to be.

There's nothing you need to do.

Let's scan slowly across the body becoming aware of any sensations you feel.

Start by bringing your awareness to all the tiny muscles in your forehead and let your awareness widen out to your temples.

Invite all the muscles in your forehead to soften and relax.

Feel the space between your eyebrows.

Allow a feeling of ease and spaciousness to spread around your eyes and letting them rest.

Bring your awareness to your mouth and your jaw.

Release any tightness in your jaw.

Let your lips part slightly.

Let your tongue soften.

Feel your jaw become heavy and relaxed.

Become aware of all the muscles in your neck and your shoulders and imagine a sensation like warm water slowly being poured across your neck and your shoulders.

Melting away any tension and easing tightness,

Creating space.

Bring your focus to your heart and take a couple of slow nourishing breaths into your heart space,

Inviting your heart to soften and relax.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your belly as you breathe.

Allow your belly to soften.

Allow your whole body to melt in this moment and extend your awareness down into your legs.

Feel all the muscles in your legs relax all the way down to your feet and your toes.

Feel your toes gently fall to the side one by one.

Sense your whole body resting here,

Completely relaxed.

Let's send a feeling of love and gratitude to the body for all its imperfections,

For the way it moves and breathes,

For the way it carries you through each day.

Experience the wonder and beauty of life.

Inhale,

Breathe in all the love you have for your body.

Breathe it in and feel your body radiating like a golden light and as you exhale,

Allow your body to soften and completely let go.

Do stay here for as long as it feels good for you.

When you are ready,

We'll slowly begin to awaken by wiggling the fingers and the toes and take your time.

Thanks again for joining me today.

I will hope you have a lovely day.

Namaste.
