Transcript

Welcome.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Allow your eyes to gently close.

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

And exhale softly through your mouth,

Layers of life supporting you without effort.

As you breathe,

Imagine roots extending from your body into the earth.

Draw up a sense of stability.

With every exhale,

Release tension.

In indigenous ways of knowing,

The land is a teacher.

Reciprocity.

As you breathe,

Quietly offer gratitude to the waters that sustain you,

To the ancestors who walked before you.

When you're ready,

Softly open your eyes.

Carry this sense of grounding with you today.
