We begin this meditation practice with COAL - Curiosity, Openness, Acceptance and Love "If you want to know what your future life will be like, look at your life right now" - this will show your habits, judgments and so much more. This practice is designed to help let go of judgement - and to do this we adopt a “beginners mind” to see things just as they are. To bring curiosity, openness, acceptance and love to your life, relations, conversations, meditation practice and everyday moments.

Hey,

This is Danica and Welcome to today's meditation Today we're going to be introducing a really beautiful acronym called COLE it stands for curiosity openness acceptance and love It's super simple and I invite you to find a comfortable seat close the eyes and just arrive into this present moment soften the shoulders and the face And really just welcome yourself to this present moment.

Just as you are just as it is Here we start to focus on our breath just gently in And out through the nose and we'll do this for a few more moments,

So Just starting to become familiar with the quality of your breath Maybe you can notice the inhale Breathing in that coolness of breath and as you exhale Feeling that warm breath and this is where we can start to become curious Curious about this present moment the thoughts that pop up in our mind And we weave in openness being open to this present moment and that may Be just feeling an opening through the chest through the heart space You might like to just roll the shoulders up back and down.

I also like to think of this as openness in our mind opening to opportunities opening to the present moment opening to the wonder of life Keeping that gentle awareness of your breath Here we find acceptance acceptance the things that we can't change acceptance of whatever May be present in your life.

Be it good or bad Knowing that everything comes and goes everything Has its moment can we accept whatever is it's Challenging to do But it's so freeing When we find acceptance we can surrender to the flow of life Surrender to what's unfolding?

Not what we think should be unfolding,

But what is unfolding?

And here we weave in The most important thing love love and kindness For yourself just as you are and you might like to Tune into this by Placing a hand over your heart space perhaps Imagining that breath flowing in and out through the heart space feeling that beating heart And just knowing so long as this is beating There's so much that's going right in our life in here.

We just have a moment of gratitude for our heart for this present moment for this stillness For this time to just be to just notice it's so important And it might be the only time today That you connect with your heart that you connect with your breath and it's such a valuable thing to do and Just before we finish this meditation See if you can make the intention to Remember this approach When we open our eyes and go off into the rest of our day Can we hold on to that lens of curiosity?

Openness Acceptance and love This is the real practice of mindfulness We just have to remember to remember When you're ready,

You can open the eyes Wriggle the fingers wriggle the toes you might like to have a big stretch And thanks so much for being here
