Take 2 minutes to calm your mind, settle your nervous system, and relax your body. This short meditation is a powerful way to reset your body and mind at any time of the day, be it at work or at home. You'll be guided to breathe length through the spine and soften any tension. I hope you enjoy it.

Welcome to your two-minute reset.

Take a moment to get as comfortable as you can,

Close the eyes down if that feels okay,

Soften your shoulders and just find a comfortable place to rest for the next two minutes.

It might be seated,

Maybe you can lie down.

Wherever you are just giving yourself permission to be here,

This opportunity to reset,

To calm the mind,

Settle your nervous system and connect with your breath.

Let's take a few breaths here and with each inhale feel your sitting bones connected to the chair if you're seated and with an inhale lengthen through the spine,

Feel like you're growing a little bit taller and as you exhale just see what you can soften.

Soften the jaw,

The shoulders.

Let's do that again.

Inhale,

Breathing length through the spine,

Maybe feeling like you can get a little bit taller and exhale.

What can you let go of?

Any tightness,

Tension in the body.

Last time.

Inhale,

Breathing length through the spine,

Exhale,

Soften the eyes,

The eyebrows,

The jaw,

Settling into this little moment for you.

We'll take a quick body scan here from the top of the head.

Just take your awareness down over the forehead,

The eyes,

The jaw,

Maybe just yawning,

Release the jaw,

The shoulders,

Softening away from the ears,

Over the chest,

Down the belly,

All the way down to your feet.

Just feeling the feet connected to the floor.

Beautiful.

Let's take a moment here just to wriggle the fingers,

Wriggle the toes,

Maybe stretching the arms overhead.

When you're ready,

Opening the eyes,

Feeling a little more refreshed and renewed.
